This game is proper peak post-Fergie era. Missed penalty then concede like that at the end after equalising.

Had hoped our Banter Era was over. We've gone a long long way to go.

Shaw injured. Martial injured. Penalty missed. De Gea mistake. No ideas going forward. 3 points lost.

    Fecking shitshow.

    Disaster of a day.

First Palace win at Old Trafford in the league since 1991.

Carrying on Moyes tradition in a grand manner.

Encouraging signs in first 2 games down the drain.

he was tackled so far away from the box. You'll expect defenders to recover that and the goalkeeper to save a very easy shot

We are putting numbers forward, you can't loose a ball in tha situation, even if I agree that the GK and defenders should have done better (de Gea should have saved it).

And that's that, our first defeat of the season and a massively frustrating one at Old Trafford. Two sucker-punch goals did us in. The first after 32 minutes from Jordan Ayew and then the second from Patrick van Aanholt deep into injury time as we chased a winner. We looked to have rescued at least a point when Daniel James scored a beautifully finished goal late on but there was even more late drama to follow.

We utterly dominated possession and shots on goal, but from more than 20 efforts we only had two on target. And to make matters worse the penalty debate will rage on after Marcus Rashford missed a penalty midway through the second-half.

It feels like a familiar story, a visiting team coming to Old Trafford defending in numbers and we struggle to break them down, getting hit by sucker punch break away goals. It will continue to be a big question mark hanging over this team.

We've now only won 3 of our last 15 games since we beat PSG in Paris :nervous:

How did we find a way to lose that? Ffs

Ole's walking around grinning shaking hands with people - absolute travesty. A Yes Man who is happy to even be there. He should have been down that tunnel after shaking Roy's hand with a face like thunder. He knows he's out of his depth here.

You see how the ball fell to Van Aanholt and then DDG makes an error.

    Thats just sheer bad luck.

You need an unbelievable team to deal with this kind of bad luck. Of course we are just average anyway.

You make your own luck in football. We simply aren’t good enough.

It was over once we never signed any quality attacking players or replaced midfielders.

We have Gomes sitting right there yet Ole would rather watch Lingard run around for a bit.

Pogba's tackle is what initiated James goal.

OK he's been shit for 94 minutes. And cheaply lost the ball yet again to lead to Palace goal.

A comedy player we should have cashed in on while commanding a fee. Cost 3 points in 2 games
