Well then go and laugh somewhere else at this point in time when everyone's pissed off about our result.

Or are you a Liverpool supporter like the var crew?

Hard to fathom that we didn't see the need to recruit a midfielder in that transfer window.

Created so little. Palace keeper has 2 saves credited to him.. One of those was from an off balance header from Harry mac, that even DeGea would have saved.

We are a very average side

We also lost Martial and Shaw apparently. We don't have the players to replace, but Mr.Ole said we have much more talents that he could even can not pick up from!
Awful season ahead. If anyone got a clue how to not watch games please advise because it's not healthy at all and at same time I just can't miss one.

Look back at this game again, and it's just a pile of issues over and over again!
Poor defending for there both goals, poor poor Refereeing, weak he was.

And the inability to take our chances when a team just sits and sits and hopes.

This is what they did, it's a slap in the face game. This is when Stats lie!

    Agree

Pogba deserves the criticism coming his way.
He's absolute quality no question. But it's hard watching him giving less than 100% yet still the obvious ability to heavily influence the outcome is undeniable.

If we had a Paul Pogba fully committed he could have a Cantona legacy. Big Statement. And moot point cos he hasn't got the character needed.

Sad to say because he's the game changer but unless he does an unlikely 360 turn and shows commitment to the Utd cause I think we're better, ultimately, without his presence. We'll be a shit show in the short term though.

I feel sick btw and typing this stuff helps. Thanks

Blame the ref, blame VAR, blame injuries etc, but in the end, that is all delusional shite. A week ago, a lot of people on here were talking about us being a ‘solid’ top 4 team. We’re not, we’re a ‘solid’ 6th team. On the bright side, last season, City also lost to Palace at home and drew with Wolves away, so who knows, maybe we’ll also end up with 98points?

Ole is going to cop a lot of crap for playing Lingard again, deservedly so.
I thought Pogba busted his gut in the second half. The big problem is there is no one there to help him.
I'm actually feeling very sick at the moment. It is not looking good at all.

Disappointed with that game. Lindelof should have done better for the goal. In my opinion it was a penalty for Martial. De Gea should have saved last goal. Nice play from James for the goal.

Any of the fans saying its a gradual process, you cant do it all in one window, you cant sell Pogba he is our best player worth way more than £150m, you have to have faith in Ole he is a Man Utd man etc etc......say the same thing said all summer....bs

It isnt even todays game, its the whole season.

Chelsea battered us and should have won the game, that is where our feable amount of recruitment did come in handy as without Bissaka and Maguire, we would have lost that game last year. We saw the two sides of Pogba, awful and wasteful in first half, couple of moments of magic in the second. 4-0 result was very much the Ole honeymoon of last year as we scored with every chance and it masked the game.

Wolves...again our feable recruitment showed dividends as the ability to play the ball around the back let us control the first half.....but we created absolutely nothing bar the goal and again although better Pogba was wasteful which is very worrying when he is playing a defensive midfield role as mistakes and lack of concentration can be more costly

Today...very much like Wolves. We are crying out for a number 10, ironic as all the years we have had them and played formations not allowing one and now we do, we dont have one. Well we do potentially in Gomes who isnt even getting on the bench.

Although he wasn awful I saw signs today of Lindelof not gelling with Maguire after a good first couple of games, still do be convinced by him at all. Im still to be convinced by McTominay, I mean I like him in the big games for getting stuck in, but still dont see him as a first choice midfielder at all. And Pogba, to be fair the formation and role doesnt suit him at all...but people including the manager talking about building a team around him, dont be ridiculous, for all his talent the guy is 26/27 and still making lazy lacklustre mistakes in awful areas of the pitch that Ross Barkley ironed out 18months ago in his. Pogba will win us games and like today and the previous game, cost us games....Madrid could afford the fee or realised it was a joke?? Never in a million years is he world class, I have given up on him over the summer and already I can see why......and whats going to happen now, 2/3 games the team is going to fall apart. Ole I love you, but you are not up to the job here and will be gone by Christmas...this side is still 4/5 positions short of a quality first eleven and when the heads drop, thos holes are just going to get bigger

More defensive mistakes costing us, whats the deal with DDG? More costly errors carrying on from last season.

Whats the point in VAR, Cahill should have been off in the first half and Martial should have been awarded a penalty. Same for Chelsea, they had a penalty not given by VAR when it was clear it was.

Overall not impressed with United, no direction or ideas what to do with the ball when teams sit back. Absolute joke of a midfield, goonna be a long few months and an expensive January to play catch up. Sorely need 2 midfielders and another forward.

I thought VAR picks up pen mistakes? Surely it's not just when a pen is given, and then they review it?
Otherwise, every incident should be given as a pen - just to review!!

Last season we conceded 21 goals because of individual errors. It's absolutely ridiculous the way we keep giving away cheap goals. Three matches played and we're already way way behind Liverpool in the table. Also this is probably our best starting lineup and we've lost two players to injury. My biggest wish come the next game, is for Lingard to sit in the stands. He brings absolutely nothing to the table. Also, that would free up som space for Paul to dilly-dally on the ball higher up the pitch.

On a positive note... James´finish was beautiful.

No they review all potential penalties as well. They reviewed the Rashford challenge at the byline which wasnt even close to being a penalty. If the ref doesnt give it, is that not a mistake? Martial was hauled back when shooting and it put him off his shot, penalty should be given.
First half Cahill should have seen red, VAR should have reviewed it and sent him off. Its meant to eradicate mistakes and its seems to be causing more confusion and anger than its preventing.

Get used to this type of performance because lots of teams will come to OT and sit back, steal a goal and go home with three points. The better teams will just come and waltz us.

You can blame Ole all you want but when he is sacked the next manager will have exact same problems. The club is a mess from top to bottom and this has not happened overnight.

We have just got to sit and put up with this until a little bit of luck somewhere along the line changes things. Been there before with United but in those days there really weren't that many good teams. Can't tell how far we will fall before we rise again.

Yes, it is far from the truth. You have taken all the credit away from our players for scoring 4 goals and made it a "Chelsea sucks" reason for all our goals. Meanwhile, Liverpool had to go to penalties to beat them after drawing 2-2. If they were as bad as some will make them out to be, then surely Liverpool would have handled them easily in 90 minutes and Leicester (everyone's other favourite underdog team) would have beat them too. Or maybe we are just a little better than people want to give us credit for...

    Bizarre rant.

No, it's not taking any credit from our players putting 4 past them. If I wanted to claim that, I would've written it, nor is there a single reference made to how "Chelsea sucks". What I've written is that they are unbalanced so far under Lampard, they aren't pressing as a team and as a result they leave big gaps that the opposition can take advantage of. Combine this with their intent on getting forward and....

They are clearly a good side with good attacking players, so they'll win plenty of matches, but other good attacking sides will enjoy playing against them.

Wolves on the other hand have a settled team that knows exactly how to play, they are extremely compact and it's very difficult to find any space to take advantage of. Breaking down teams that play that deep and who stay that compact is a much bigger test and on the two last occasions (Wolves and now Crystal Palace) we've failed.

He could be - I'd play him further forward - maybe in front of McTominay and Fred (£52M - we need to at least try and make it work with him).

But it appears he doesn't have the mentality, focus or commitment to do it.
