Gomes's time will (hopefully) come, until then we have a player who is adept at working off the ball in the way Ole wants. He is limited in what he can do with it, though he should be doing more than a few half-decent touches in a match, and we'll have to lump it until we bring in or develop a player worthy of taking his place. Not a great situation, but that's where we are.
