    Lots seem to be dropping Rooney. LVG says he has privalidges as captain, if he doesn't play it is for rest and he had that recently.
    He will start in the middle tonight but probably a game he will do well in there.
    I expect pretty much the same team as per West Ham.
     
    For the love of fecking christ Van Gall do what the feck you where brought in for and drop some of these "star names" who cannot play together. Any combination of two strikers or a back 3 and it'll be another painful evening of football to watch.

    Would love that but I would actually make a slight change and stick Valencia right wing, him and Rafael haven't had the chance to play with eachother down the right in ages.

    Were all going to see the team announced and think, thats a strong team. Before realising three or four people are out of position in a weird formation that makes no sense, which will see us struggle to create chances before a sub or two means we change it to what should have started with. Again. And then we win 2-0 just about after DDG makes two or three good saves.
     
    Word on the street (Barney from MEN) is that Adnan keeps his place, and Wilson is a sub.

    ... that likely means Falcao and RVP are kept as well.

    Easy win tonight. We're too good at home but the football will not be pretty.
     
    I don't expect us to walk today's game. Burnley are physical and will get in our faces and the pansy way we've been playing recently won't do us any favours. I don't expect us to concede this game so I have predicted a 3-0 win. This seems contradictory considering what I've just said but it is possible to score 3 goals and not walk the game and I'm thinking that's what'll happen.

    I really can't believe I'm saying this for a variety of reasons... but I wonder if it makes more sense / is more likely to see Fellaini in place of Falcao?

    I really want to see Di Maria play on the right side for once. He played there for Argentina vs Germany in a friendly early this season and wrecked them, absolutely unplayable. With him and Adnan there's possibility of switching flanks mid game if they can find a weakness with either fullback and take turns going at him, with Valencia you cannot do that.

    I highly doubt he will play Fellaini in Falcao's place. Maybe he will change the shape and play him instead of Januzaj seeing that he has a more physical presence which is highly needed against a greatly physical side.
