The scoreline might look convincing but it was anything but tonight. Burnley came to Old Trafford and had a real go at United. In the first-half in particular they could easily have scored two or three goals.
Two first-half headers from Chris Smalling got them out of jail and United finished the stronger team in the last 30 minutes, but it was a poor performance. They move up into third after Southampton's 0:0 draw with West Ham, but plenty of concerns after this performance.
