Surprised to see Valencia dropped and no Fellaini.I know they people are pissed off at the lineup after that West Ham game, but Burnley at home is a completely different story. RVP and Falcao will probably do well and score.How much will we recoup for Herrera in the summer?Stupid line up but it's Burnley so should win convincingly.At least he has realised Valencia is useless.Christ I'm shite at the line-up game
Guess LVG is too stubborn to put Rooney back up front and wants to prove to the world Falcao-RVP will work.
His decisions have been strange. I'm glad Januzaj is getting a chance but Mata had been one of our better players recently and now finds himself sitting on the bench. Same with Herrera, who would be far better than Rooney in midfield.Another game without a proper midfield, joyI really want to think LvG is being forced by someone at the club to play Falcao and/or RvP, but I don't think anyone of his stature would let someone else decide who plays surely? So pissed he cant even break into the team when Falcao/RvP/Di Maria have shown nothing in the past few weeks. Why cant he just be in the middle with Rooney up top? Its not rocket science.
We go from a tactical inept manager to one whos too smart for his own good.It's not a bad lineup as long as it's Di Maria wide and Rooney behind the two up front. Which it won't be.
When we were playing 352 people were pleading for the 442 diamond.
I still think one up front with Herrera and Blind behind in a 4231 would be more balanced and lead to better attacking play but what do I know!I like van Gaal and I'm on board with this philosophy, but feck me, how can you play Rooney, Falcao and van persie...
