Need a little break from watching football. Will only follow the match via caf.

Would've preferred this on a Sunday evening. That way United don't ruin my entire weekend.

Brentford will be terrified of the inevitable out-of-the-blue, unpredictable, random tactical switch up from the manager that'll completely blindside them.

In the spirit of Lord Melchett, undertaking the same, obviously inadequate, approach to the match that has failed so spectaculary thus far will be the very last thing our opponents will be expecting us to do again. Therefore I'm confident that this is exactly what we will do and the rabbit out of Ten Hag's hat this afternoon will be so exactly what he's done every week to this point. In the hope Brentford will be so shocked and awed by this, that they'll forget our midfield is as easy to get through as a knife through boiling butter.

our injuries are far beyond normal now. Last season was extreme but i thought it would revert to normal. obviously having injury prone players doesnt help, but if im right, today we are missing

    Mainoo
    Maguire
    Yoro
    Shaw
    Malacia
    Mazraoui

    Doubts:
    Ugarte
    Garancho

Again, every team has tough spells with injuries, but this has been a sustained year of about 5-6+ out every week. It simply cant be down to bad luck

    Id lean towards something like

    Onana

    Dalot
    Evans
    De Ligt
    Martinez

    Ugarte*
    Fernandes
    Mount*

    Diallo
    Hojlund
    Garnacho

    *fitness depending

It's just Brentford at home... People are acting like we're about to face a prime Barcelona team.

Ever since Spurs defeat it's much easier to watch our games as every result can be good in a way.

The United players will be trembling in anticipation of this one. It must be awe-inspiring seeing ten Hag get ready to lead the troops into battle.

This is the beginning of a 31 match winning run, as ten Hag canters to the title. He said, “one day it will click” and today is that day.

Problem is ETH needs a team of fast incisive accurate passers in midfield to make his game theory work. With Mainoo out and Bruno off his game he's in terminal trouble. Erikson and Casemiro can pass but they make us hopelessly easy to play through.

Maybe he should adapt then? But that's a tall order when it comes to him.

I have a nasty feeling we will lose and ETH will get sacked Monday morning.

He wants to play a certain kind of football. He hasn't got the players to make it work in the EPL and frankly it may be impossible to make such a fragile idea work in such a competitive league. Maybe Dutch ideas don't thrive at high temperatures. Feel like ETH is a failed experiment.

I'm expecting 3 nil based on the salaries of staff, players and the sheer cost of assembling this 'process'

We should expect nothing less else the management should fall on their sword and walk.

Mazraoui and Ugarte have been declared fit by Ten Hag

Strange how these line ups come out just as our Match Day time for choosing a line up ends.
    Strange.

Wonder what Thomas and poor little old Brentford will moan about after getting spanked out the gate today. Can't stand that smug whiny gobshite.

Brentford and that floppy haired twat can get fecked. Also "fans" who want Utd to lose just so they can be happy the manager gets sacked are morons and really shouldn't be considering themselves a fan at all, seems to be every game now, and I've been talking to people who actually think like that, it's quite pathetic really.

    4-1 Utd.
Ya I remember Thomas Frank almost crying when we beat them in the post match interview 2 seasons ago and now I can’t forget it . I’m ETH out but I predict a 2-0 win today . Season starts Today

I’m going to choose to believe this. At least until reality rears it’s ugly head around 15:05.
