    Expecting something like this.
That front 3 is awful. Zero IQ.

Eriksen and Ugarte the likely midfield. Dont like Eriksen with Bruno though. Id personally go Eriksen, Casemiro and ugarte

Watch Brentford score again in the first minute. Where are our goals going to come from as undoubtedly we will be playing with 10 men again, as he won’t drop Bruno. 0-2 I think and surely the sack for TH if I am right

I don’t see us winning. I see it either being a bore draw or Brentford comfortably win 3-0, all carbon copies of that cutback goal we always concede.

Apparently Brentford are gonna lump it forward from kickoff, swarm the area where it lands and score from a cross.

Looking forward to game. Brentford are fun, but can be got at.come on United!

Is it incredibly sad I wouldn't mind an extra week of international break?

There are plenty of other entertaining sides in this league to watch so that's a bonus, whatever happens today he will definitely get until at least November international break by recent reports

Brentford are entering this game as the better team, and they will be well rested for this. Frank has them playing competent football and they score a lot. Defending is their weakness, but that job will be made much easier by United's sterile attack. Injuries have already started to become a problem to the surprise of absolutely nobody, but Brentford are also missing players, and they are shite away from home.

Another boring draw, which he will probably spin as some positive.

    Onana
    Dalot De Ligt Evans Martinez
    Casemiro Eriksen
    Garnacho Bruno Rashford
    Zirkzee

Probably something like this, but if we're honest with ourselves the players selected don't really matter much, the performance will be the same either way. Hope it's a fun 50/50 end to end game at the very least rather than the painfully dull version of United (or the one where we just get dominated)
I've gone with almost the same line-up, but with Hojlund instead of Zirkzee.

Guardian running a 'how bad EtH is' data research clinic whilst ESPN have 'how Ineos are terrible' routine

Seems like an execution is imminent

Wonder what Thomas and poor little old Brentford will moan about after getting spanked out the gate today. Can't stand that smug whiny gobshite.

Brentford and that floppy haired twat can get fecked. Also "fans" who want Utd to lose just so they can be happy the manager gets sacked are morons and really shouldn't be considering themselves a fan at all, seems to be every game now, and I've been talking to people who actually think like that, it's quite pathetic really.

    4-1 Utd.

Don't know why, but I have a feeling that Rashford is going to smash them and we win 3-0... probably blind optimism(no idea where it came from).

Even considering bringing him in for Saka on FPL.

We’ve been caught napping in the first 5 mins, in too many games.
Brentford will go with their signature Blitzkrieg attack from the kick off.
If we survive (I can’t believe I’m saying that about Utd) the first 15 minutes of this match, then it’s anyone’s guess how the game will go after that.
How can anyone be confident about the result?

Seemingly not being ready when games kick off has been an issue for years, under different managers. United, especially at home, should make the away team worry and not the other way around. It's ridiculous.

I always want us to win the next match, but this is the first time in all the years I’ve supported United where I can appreciate the long term value of a defeat. But even so I still want to see us hammer Brentford, even if it means the inevitable shit performances over the next matches before our backs are up against the wall again and dig out another win.

    Exactly this.

A refreshing post, thanks for alleviating the gloom!

Completely forgot this game was even on today which shows how much I have pretty much lost interest in this team and manager. Hoping for a win but genuinely won’t be surprised if we drop further points again here.

    Onana

Mazraoui - De Ligt - Martinez - Dalot

    Casemiro - Eriksen

    Garnacho - B.Fernandes - Rashford

    Hojlund
subs: Bayindir, Evans, Lindelof, Amass, Collyer, Ugarte, Antony, Amad, Zirkzee

score prediction - Manchester United 2-1 Brentford

    That's ok.Football isn't for everyone.

Expecting Brentford to score first, probably within the first ten hag minutes.

I really dont uunderstand any of the posters hinting they'd be fine with a load for the 'bigger pictue'. I want us to batter Brentford, for instant joy!!

With Mainoo and Ugarte put for this, I would go for Collyer, Eriksen and Bruno in the middle. If it is Casemiro, Eriksen and Bruno we will no doubt get over run yet again.

Hoping this is the day our front 3 really clicks.
