Definitely a match we should win especially wiht being at home but we'll need to probably be patient to break them down and be careful not to get caught too exposed on the counter

get us up to 3rd and more importantly create a small gap(5 pts and 7pts) between ourselves and Spurs/Liverpool

Have we had any cleer sign that Martinez will come straight back into the team? I have a feeling that ETH being the disciplinarian that he is, may only put him on the bench for taking his time to return.

Really hoping for a good game from Antony as he needs a confidence booster. Sometimes we forget how young these guys are and the pressure for instant success is immense.

That all said, I am confident for this one and expect a few goals to be shared around for us.

Would assume out cup tie on the weekend would be a better game for Martinez to get back into the swing of things. Given our lack of depth in quality/we've got a great chance in the League Cup, I'd be very happy for ETH to field a weaker side in the cup and keep the focus on the league/other comps we're in.

Varane getting a rest, probably playing vs Everton in the FA Cup and then rested mid week again vs Charlton for the City game. Antony been underperforming, but will probably start vs Everton and then I'm sure Garnacho comes in for the next 2 games after this one, once for Martial and once for Rashford with those 2 getting a rest each? Van de Beek probably to rest Bruno vs Charlton as well.
