Enormous ask because City seem to relish playing at Old Trafford and Arsenal look like juggernaut at the moment which can't be stopped
City I just hope it wont go as at the Etihad, Arsenal looked great when we beat them at Old Trafford too so it wouldnt be impossible if we did it again.
Both extremely tough games of course.

    Team should be

    -----------------De Gea-----------------
    AWB--Lindelof--Martinez--Shaw
    -----McTominay---Fred-----
    Antony----Fernandes----Rashford
    -----------------Martial-----------------

Subs: Dubravka, Dalot, Varane, Maguire, Malacia, Eriksen, Casemiro, Garnacho, Elanga
That team could struggle even in a cup game. We do not rest players for league games! Ten Hag will put on the strongest starting 11 we currently have. As he should.

    ------------------------DDG

    AWB------Varane----Martinez---Shaw

    ---------------Casemiro-----Eriksen

    Antony----------Martial---------Rashford

    No messing about.

I read Dalot is also back?

Given that this GW presents us with a brilliant opportunity to solidify our position, there is no chance we should be resting anyone.

With Martinez back, we can move shaw to LB and maybe AWB can continue at RB if Dalot is not up to speed.

Rest we go with our strongest 11 and put some daylight between us and other top four contenders

Looking at the next 2 league games, we really need the win here..

ETH doesn't seem the kind that enjoys rotation.

We will go full strength, ideally get the game won by 70 - then use the 5 subs wisely.

Huge game - a chance to go seven points ahead of Liverpool, and (most likely, if they lose at Arsenal) pass Newcastle by two points, with a game in hand. And if City should lose at Chelsea (I know, not very likely), we're just a single point behind them. If it goes the other way, we'd be ten points up on Chelsea.

Need Bruno, Antony and Martial to turn up tonight. Can't keep relying on Rashford to bail us out uptop.

Who said that Ole and Phelan guest managers thing? It caused bits of my breakfast to decorate next doors cat

It’s even more of must win given the fixtures our rivals have, with Liverpool already fumbling.

So many questions. Will Jadon be on fire? Has Maguire dispersed into unrelated molecules? Who in the Caf works in a scam call centre? Why is that asteroid acting funny, like a football struck by Carlos Alberto in 1970, on its way back into Earth orbit? Who thought Shaw could be a centre half? Will Martial score a hat trick?

I have never understood the obsession this place has with resting players for the sake of it. Most of the players have barely played much football in the past couple of months. Stop acting like the players are on the ropes.

Just because you guys double your heart rates just by the thought of lifting your fat arses off your beloved armchairs doesn't mean the same applies to professional footballers.

    Full fecking strength.
Well Said! For feck sake these footballers were sitting on their asses for a major part of the prev managers' regimes. It is high time we ask for the maximum out of these players. If you are not fit, then you probably need to leave. Enough of showing love for the players, it is time we judge them by their effort and not aesthetics or their style. Martial needs to move his ass more.

It's taken a long time but I feel much more comfortable about us getting 3pts in this type of games now with ETH in charge. Hence, this game is bound to end up 1-1.

I watched Bournemouth against Chelsea the other evening, and they were without doubt, the poorest side I have seen in the Premiership this season. Toothless, nothing about them at all. Chelsea were not even that good and they didn't leave first gear.

I expect Antony and Martial to get some goals and confidence this evening. Casimeiro shouldn't even be playing, let Fred, McTominay and Van Der Beek carry the load for this one. They will not have an easier game this season.

Hope we're on it tonight. Feels like everything has been too good to be true lately so hopefully we can see this game off early.

    Thought this was tomorrow. Nice.

    De Gea
    AWB Varane Martinez Shaw
    Casemiro Eriksen
    Antony Bruno Rashford
    Martial
Let's pump up our goal differential please. This is the strongest 11 by far we've been able to put out this season, just missing Dalot.

I would like to rotate a bit in order to get fresh legs against Everton on Friday night (with Charlton 3 days after too).

    ---------------------------------------------------De Gea------------------------------------------------------
    Wan Bissaka---------------------Varane----------Martinez----------------------------Malacia
    ----------------------------------Mc Tominay---------Eriksen-------------------------------------------
    Antony-----------------------------------------Bruno------------------------------------------Rashford
    -----------------------------------------------------Martial-----------------------------------------------------

Yeah we should absolutely batter them, it’ll be a massacre. 1-0 Lloyd Kelly OG 83rd minute.

Wouldn't surprise me if we saw Rashford up front with Garnacho on the left tonight. Can't push Martial too much after his injuries. Also we can't afford to rest Casemiro or Bruno as the drop off is far too big. Take them off once the game is won.

Any decent streams available for the game tonight?

3rd and a 7 point gap to Liverpool waits tomorrow

I swear we've bottled every chance we've had like this for the last 5 years.
    This.

Every chance we had over the last few years when other teams have slipped up, we've shat ourselves and have also lost or drawn when we should've been easily winning.

Everybody around us are dropping points so would be really nice to break our tradition of never taking advantage of it. They cannot defend, hopefully we score a few.

100%. Massive game this. 3 points here are huge. Don’t care about the performance (although would love a comfortable win), just want the points. The other games going on that you pointed out could also work in our favour. But even if they don’t it keeps the pressure on and the good run. Anthony to score tonight. 2-0.

Have a bad feeling about tonight because of our recent history faced by this type of situation. A massive home game to possibly go into 3rd but at the very least cement 4th for the moment and extend our advantage over our rivals. Too many times I've watched United fail in this 'winnable' games but hopefully tonight is different and ETH will show the mettle he seems to have instilled in the team.

    And what about Bournemouth? :smirk:
