It almost feels like even a full strength starting 11 doesn't reflect the managers capabilities. Multiple investments over the next 24 months and we will see the managers vision on the club.

This was a weird game. We won 3-0. Mostly bossed it, but I felt we were way less in “control” in that second half after our goal.

shaw/cas great. Maguire wasn’t bad. Bruno was very wasteful. Rashford keeps scoring, even though I thought he didn’t have a stellar game.
Don’t really know what to make of that game to be honest.

On the whole, very very good. A few sloppy moments at the back, which is to be expected with AWB, Lindelof and Maguire playing. But the team has worked hard, produced some excellent play, one great set piece, two wonderful team goals. Overall very very good given all the rotation.

Twice now Fred has come on and helped give us control over the midfield. Eriksen's lack of intensity and physicality does worry me even if he's brilliant when on the ball

Agree with this. Striker is main priority, if we can get one, if so I think that’s all we’ll do this window. Midfield might have to wait for summer. The rest I won’t worry about too much - we’ve got cover now in nearly every position.

He did it against Ghana and Switzerland, doesn't mean he has the ability to do it against any premier league team where the pressing and the pace are more intense. We know he's also pretty inconsistent in his ability to dominate a midfield, actually hes not a player capable of doing it. We know he's more of a second striker and his best asset is to assist and score goals, which is what he is consistent at

The knee jerk reactions every game with people wanting im benched or sold after a few mispasses is whats annoying. Bruno has been our most important player since the pandemic but you guys still want him benched every saturday. I enjoy watching them slowly fade out from matchday threads when bruno inevitabily assits or scores. If you want to dominate a midfield, then you don't put a midfield 3 of Cas, eriksen and bruno. ETH made a midfield capable of breaking up play and counter attacking as fast as possible.
