Pereira isn't our third choice CM. He started the season as 5th choice CM. He's played mostly in the 3 behind the forward. He's only playing now because 3 of the other 4 aren't in the condition to play.

Our problem isn't that our 5th choice CM isn't good enough. It's that of the first 4, one is in decline and another is questionable. We only have two solid CM options. We need to replace at least one of the two with questions soon.

There are so many people surprised that Fred and Periera are starting.. its hilarious.

What did people expect? Garner to start alongside Fred in the midfield?

The fall off in quality when it comes to our backups is an issue.. but with the injuries we have, this was the obvious choice... it was the only choice.

It's not throwing him to the proverbial wolves to give him the chance in a game with some importance. That's how players develop character.

Garner played on Thursday in freezing conditions to add to a long distance flight and jet lag, there was no way he was going to start this one.

Chose Leicester vs Everton over us. Leicester can go second and Silva v likely to get sacked unless he wins vs a team in 11th vs a team in 16th

He'd look decent for any mid table side if coached properly. He's made 118 senior appearances all in top flight football, were not talking about some semi pro player who just moved from the Irish league ffs.
