Pogba is at fashion week in Paris instead of training and preparing for the derby

3-0 to us. Bruno, Pogba and Sancho with a goal and an assist each.

I honestly think City could score seven if they put their minds to it. The prediction thingy only goes to five, so that's what I've put

Rational prediction would be Utd get thumped, but I hope I am wrong and it's a close game.

First properly good team we will have played under Ragnick and feel we’ll get shredded unless he drops our older and slower players here. They are susceptible against counters, no need to try anything special against them given how bad we’ve looked too often this season.

I rather we get thumped if we are going to lose. A 1-0 or 2-0 defeat gives the impression that it was a close fight somewhat. I don't think our players care anymore. And the board, if they don't know already, should be awoken from their slumber.

Well, we got thumped by pool, watford, leicester and city. They couldn't care less even after that.

Not looking forward to this. We lose, and our top 4 hopes are all but over. We win, liverpool draw level with city.

Having said that, we need to win. And I’m going to predict that we will. 1-0 to us. We’ve been playing well, we can’t keep missing easy chances over and over again.

What? We have an interim manager running the ship, what would a thumping prompt the board to do exactly? Weird take.

Just feel like this will be the game that refocuses City on their way to the title, after a few iffy performances. They'll dominate and look good doing so.

Lets hope so! Can't be having liverpool winning the treble!

United aren't getting top four and we don't want Liverpool winning the league. Pointless exercise, this game.

I think we’ll draw, could even sneak a win. City are (marginally) struggling lately.

It's been really hard to focus on any sports atm due to war, but I feel we are in very strong position defensively, but the scoring our chances part is the one we really need to work on more.

Still have nightmares of the last time we met them. Couldn't get near them.

It was embarrassing - men against boys.
What's shocking is that some fans seem to have forgotten this, which is why I believe that a lot of people who post on these boards don't actually watch us play.
There is a huge gulf in ability between the 2 teams.

    Miracles do happen though.

Playing Ronaldo would be the dumbest decision Ralf has made so far. This game is just not for him at all. We need to be able to hold the ball and be fast on the counter.

And who in our squad offers that?

Our only other option is to play no striker and have Bruno slightly further forward. That would rely on Rashford though who has been in much worse form than Ronaldo.

we're not playing great at the moment, a few of the players have looked at big leggy lately, could be far closer than a few on this thread are thinking.

Every year we get predictions here about getting smashed away to City. Never happens.

This City side lost recently to Spurs at home and Spurs are as mediocre as United have been this season. Palace have beaten them at home and Southampton drew with them.

Manchester Derbies also tend to take a life of their own, I remember Ferguson United teams drop points against some very average City sides and even Ole had a decent record against Peps City.

Rashford Elanga Sancho and play on break with pace. That's just for this game mind.

I don't get the doom and gloom, I hope we'll give them a proper fight rather than just sitting back for 90 and hoping for an occasional counter to win as if we're Burnley or whatever.

Win / lose, scoreline don't really matter to me - We just have to prove that we're on the right direction and can fight evenly against the top sides.

The last time we played Burnely we tied them 1-1. Just sayin

We got smashed in the last fixture. The 2-0 scoreline flattered us the most Ive seen. It was a more embarrassing display than Liverpool prior. I remember everyone talking about it and think there were quotes from Pep after about how he never even trained the side for the game.

What are you on about? Last time we played them, at home by the way, it was like watching Prime Barcelona vs Burnley. The only reason it was 0-2 is because Guardiola either took pity on us or wanted to save his players. Probably the former, it's not like we could have tired them anyway, how we played in that game. Nightmare fuel.

What I'm on about is exactly what I said.

    De Gea
    Dalot - AWB - Jones - Maguire - Lindelöf - Varane - Bailly - Shaw - Telles
    Bruno

    Hope for a 0-0
