Tomorrow's a must win we have to start winning games in a row now.

Glad Rooney is back. United is not the same without him.

It's not a "must win". We are to overdramatic when it comes to this type of thing. A loss isn't going to break our season.

Could be in the bottom half by 5:30 tomorrow ffs :D
That's impossible. If Spurs win and we lose, we'll be 9th. Or if Villa win and we lose by enough for them to take over on GD.

Edit: Never mind, forgot to factor in a heavy hit to our GD. Damn!

How will city line up you think?

    ------------------Hart---------------
    ----------Mangala Kompany------
    Zabaleta --------------------Clichy
    ---------Touré Fernandinho-------
    Milner------------------------Nasri
    ---------------Dzeko----------------
    -----------------------Aguero-------

Maybe Navas for Milner, Jovetic for Dzeko? Kolarov played against Newcastle and injured his arm so I would think Clichy plays. Fernando and Demichelis could start as well I guess. Lampard injured. Slight chance Yaya won't start as well.

Aston Villa have lost 5 in a row but they are just 3 points behind us. By the end of this gameweek, they might even draw level. :nervous:

Milner is an absoloute cert to start, I wonder if City can find a way for him and Navas to start as Navas did us a lot of damage last season in the same fixture

If our aim is top 4, tomorrow is definitely not a must win. In fact, I think because of Liverpool and Spurs's form, we already are favourite to finish fourth. If we're talking about winning the title which is an overly optimistic target, I am afraid 13pts behind makes it already a dead end even if it's November.

Yeah I think Milner will start as well. I wonder if there's a chance they'll play Fernando and Fernandinho in CM and give Yaya more of an attacking role. As for Navas, I think he'll come on when our fullbacks have tired and when he can really use his pace, assuming we will sit back and try to counter them from the start.

    Of course it is.

No it isn't a must-win. A good performance and another step forward is really what we need to be hoping for.

Aren't you the same guy that pulled out that Juan Crapa post previously?

I just saw that, so it confirms my thoughts that he is just a kid. He will soon learn that a match in November is not a must win. A lot of ups and downs to come, he is in for one hell of a ride and will probably end up with a City shirt by the end of it.

Why would he burn his bridges with all United fans, I've always liked big Pete despite him playing for City, his trolling of G Nev in the tunnel was quite funny.

There is a big difference between being annoyed at a club employee and legend, posing with the league trophy in City colours and saying City are bigger than us.....

And calling Juan Mata, Juan Crapa.

Calling a Man Utd legend a Prat is childish. Like it was for Keane to have a go at Paddy.

Genuinely suspect he's just preparing ammunition for if the team loses this "must-win game" to go on a slating rampage.

Club employee and all....Add this to the "City are bigger and better than United" quote from during the week...........

As always, the meaning is misinterpreted when its taken out of context. He ment that Manchester City, beeing the current league holder, is the bigger (better club). Its got nothing to do with the clubs reputation, economic status, or number of supporters. Its just an objective statement, which says that the current league champion is the proven better team.

Also, my personal view is that his love for united has been confirmed more often then not.

Right how many of you agree to donate me 50p if the jinx works?

I got no expectations for tomorrow's game as it is the one game I would have expected to lose when the fixture list was made at the start of the season. So I can go into this one fully enjoying it and have no disappointment if we lose.

All I want tomorrow is a competitive performance and for United not to give away anything soft like we have been doing away from home. Anything else is a bonus.

Interested in how we will set up though. I think Rooney will simply start over Mata but LVG changes his tactics frequently so really not sure what to expect.

Will donate 2 quid if it works....I've 4 quid to do me till Tuesday :D

Ok. Im hoping my jinx extends to this game too as being 8 or 9 clear of City is amazing. Bear in mind it doesnt jinx United to win it jinxes them not to lose.
