    You already know Maguire will be overplayed this season. Should've just started Mengi. Do away with the carabao cup this year
     
    Can't wait for the inevitable Maguire injury in the coming weeks due to being played week in week out.
     
    If we end up messing this up it is on Ole. No way should both Lingard and Mata be starting.
     
    Interesting team but would have preferred more of our 1st team to get minutes under their belts then bring in some of these players second half.
     
    The front three of Lingard - Ighalo - Mata doesn’t induce confidence...

    Why do you want to rest him? He was not involved in the Internationals due to reasons known to the entire internet and consequently needs games to get fit(ter).
     
    Glad to see Ole rotating early. Bruno, Pogba, Rashford, Martial and Greenwood should have no excuses against Brighton.

    Ighalo might get a lot of minutes this season, I think we're certain to extend his loan beyond January.

    Literally the only trophy we stand a chance at winning, if the better teams rest a few players like Chelsea did against us yesterday. I say let’s try and win this, lifting trophies is fun.
     
    Ole better not use the “match fitness” excuse at the weekend if we drop more PL points.

    Tonight would have been the perfect opportunity to play the first team into fitness.

    Yes and one week after the transfer window is closed he will injure himself after some stupid tackle. I'm sorry about his bad luck with injuries but it's shocking how half of our centre backs can't stay fit.
     
    No idea why we are rotating the squad when the first team needs to find their fitness. If this match was 2 months from now I would have absolutely no problem with this line up, but considering we had no preseason and we have only played one match, we should have started with our best 11...
     
    As expected quite a lot of changes since Saturday. However the likes of Matic and Wan Bissaka playing begs the question, why didn't they play on Saturday?

    First start for Van De Beek should be interesting. Especially considering he was practically the only positive from Saturday's game. Also a debut for Dean Henderson in goal will be interesting to see too.
     
    Looking at the team, I think it's better to skip this as it will 1am kickoff.
