I think Ole was a bit peeved that we didn't get a pen in our last game, which we lost.
It's got to a point where we can barely score a goal in open play, so need to rely on penalises.

Obviously still getting up to speed, fielding two left footed midfielders, have a pub striker leading the line, and Brandon is still struggling, while AWB still offers nothing going forward.

Good so far, considering. Hope no one gets injured, not least in terms of the shop window (like Bailly last season and Jones every season).

The team is so clumsy at times, I do believe we have a good general idea of how to play, but individual errors in every area of the pitch breaks down the play constantly. Whether that's down to quality, match sharpness or coaching, I don't know.

We need to be working on our triangles in practice. Players receiving the ball should have two options immediately available or showing to them, yet we often spray the ball out wide or up front and the receiving player is left alone 1 v 1. You can break a team down without any flair dribblers if you have an advanced understanding of passing, moving, and space on the pitch. We have none of those things.

I agree with you but you are talking about the Johan Cruijff theory and we have Ole Gunnar. Different level as players and more importantly as coaches.

Another boring match. Since before Fergie retired, Utd has been one of the most boring teams to watch. But with Fergie we still had a little bit of that aura that made teams give us too much respect. Once we lost that and not having a set system of play, we are just a bunch of 11 players knocking it about hoping someone scores a worldly.

I’m definitely not Ole out, or even close to it. But I hope he realises he needs a better assistant coach. If you’re a better manager than a coach, then you should invest in some world class coaches.
