I think the first change in the first half is too swap Rashford and Pogba and push martial up front.

I think around the 70th if it’s still 0-0 we bring on Cavani for Martial.

I think regardless how the game goes Ole will push Pogba into the middle of the park and take off mctominay and bring on Greenwood.

I think we will do this regardless as the game progresses, I know it’s a risk but it’s not that big of a risk and I think we need to do it if for nothing then for our mentality.

I think Solskjaer is happy, I am it’s 0-0 and we haven’t even played yet. I think we will come on stronger, we have to attack their defence. We need to put the onus onto them and see how they handle a bit of pressure.

Glad we rode those first 30 minutes out, we grew a little but not enough.

Fred and McTominay do a good job, but I feel we need better quality in that area.

Liverpool are excellent at continually winning the 1st and 2nd balls. Damn frustrating but got to admire it.

No composure for the team. Glad it is 0-0, Rashford and Martial needs to stay onside, they have the pace against the CB so why are you straying offside? I cannot understand. Nobody is bringing it!!! Hope Ole can calm the team dow and play proper football.

Very disappointing how poor we are on the ball , everything looks so panicky when we get it and the tactic seems to be jut kick it anywhere to get rid of it. We are just hanging in here showing so little ambition.so far.

At least we swap linesman at half, but given how crap the one at our end has been, I'm not sure that's a good thing.

Why is only Rashford getting blasted here? Bruno is our worst player by a mile and hardly anyone is even mentioning him.

They've offered nothing but pot shots going forward Liverpool. We've look more threatening in attack and I think that shows in the free kicks.

I'm a little worried about too many loose passes but overall it's a decent game. It could go either way and the first goal will be key.

Grew into the game after half an hour. Defensively we are good. Offensively we're rushing things too much and final ball is lacking. 7 offsides is too much. We look dangerous on the counter and one of those could be a goal. Still anyone's game.

Marcus should concentrate more, he alone was offside like 3,4 times. Bruno is trying to pass from the first or through ball through a block too much. Lindelof although I was sceptical has been great. Shaw and Pogba too.

Matic need to be brought on to help with the ball. All these runners in midfield but doesn't help when they give the ball right away and can't make simple few yards passes.

Our midfield is so poor on the ball that our attackers have been left to starve.

I do like Fred and see what he brings but he’s been awful.

Given it away more times than Rashford’s given out school dinners.

Cavani is a must. Bit of strength up top and give those two bell ends at CB something to worry about as they’ve had feck all to do first half.

Had a decent spell for about 10 mins but were bossed off the park in the first half hour, they were first to every second ball and 50/50, we’re lucky Firmino fluffed a few chances.

The obvious direct route to Rashford looks like it may possibly work but I think we need to worry them with something else other than that. Thought Shaw and Pogba were good, Martial shite then had a few nice runs. Everyone else poor and I’m happy it’s 0-0 still.

Survived their attacks and got a little luck in that Firmino can't finish but we need to do more going the other way.

Letting Pogba come more centrally helped us get into the game but I'd bring Cavani on to help us get at the centre-backs.

    Pleased.

Keep the same gameplan in second half. Rashford will get through

So irritating with the offside rule. Whistle right away. Lino on the subs - side were awful in first half.

Rashford reminds me of Inzaghi.... in the sense that he was born offside.
Inzaghi was 10x better as a striker, he just lacked pace so he always gambled early.

    rashford Doesn’t need to!

Liverpool front 3 are making inside runs to receive pass while Martial and Rashford are just waiting for a pass ..

rashford needs to frigging stay onside!

It's really infuriating just how poor we've been in this department. Our attacking play hasn't been up to much, but every time we've got into a decent position and look to release him, he's off! Just poor discipline to be offside that many times.

Best two players for me are Pogba and Shaw.

Liverpool midfield today have lot of flair on the ball, we struggled to win the ball back in midfield because of it. Our final pass and the run of our forwards are not connected well enough.

Be interesting to see at what point (if at all) Ole brings on Cavani. He could have a field day against that defence but I feel we'll only see him if we're chasing the game. Don't think Ole will be proactively making that change if it remains 0-0.

Pogba put a lot of effort, but I hope he can put a little bit more in the second half, because it feels like today he can be the one affecting the game for us. Please trust AWB in attack. He has several decent chance to use the space on right.

Bruno needs to cut this part out of his game otherwise we won't make the next level jump with him

Yeah, he's a great player but today he's having one of those Rooney games where his touch is shit and he constantly tries to ping the balls from 70 yards out.

Pogba superb, Bruno largely anonymous but could have scored. Shaw best Utd player by far. Our CBs can’t pass for shit.

We will break that off side
Agreed. I would add CBs, RBs, and CMs to the list of players who can't pass for shit. Or rather who shit their pants when they are pressed. Only player who looks comfortable and composed on the ball is Pogba.

Thiago gets through quite a lot of defensive work. Very contrary to the people that were adamant he can't function in a two man midfield.

With the Lindelof selection we automatically start deep and then neither of the midfield duo are brilliant passers and our best passer is wide right, so it was always going to be a slog. We got better in the last 15 minutes or so as Pogba drifted inside and Shaw took the game on, I'm guessing Rashford is #9 because Martial hasn't been scoring, but it's not worked so far, there's space for Cavani's experience to pay-off in the 2nd half.

I thought we were fine. If we come out with a point we'll have done well.

People that aren't satisfied with our shape, do you want us to open up play? Their biggest chances came after our attacks when we had people up the field.

I would leave the team as is except for Pogba, we need someone quicker there.
