A '0-0' score line never sits well in any games, especially ones like these. There is relief of course and some great accolades for our defenders in how they dealt with Mane, Salah etc.
However, yet again we squandered two great chances (personally I think there were three great chances, Marcus ran himself into trouble when he could have passed to Cavani or Pogba) leaves you feeling that if you are going to base your play on a counter-attacking style, then you just have to take your chances, especially in big games.
The best bit for me was Klopp's post match comment that, "with so many good players they play defensive" (need the German accent to go with it) we were somehow attempting to 'park the bus,' and even the MOTD2 panel had to argue with that!
