Started off pretty badly here, but have grown into the game. Defensively we've been quite soild apart from that Maguire idiocy. Attacking wise, our double pivot can't get the ball to our attackers and even if they do get the ball, Bruno and Pogba can't get the through pass right. If it's still 0-0 at 70 mins, take one of McT-Fred off for Matic/Cavani and have a real go.Bruno has been guilty of trying to do too much today, few simpler passes to keep us with the ball would be wise.First 20 minutes were a bit rough, but we grew into a bit after that. We've defended well, but we need to be smarter on the counter, Liverpool's high line is well drilled.
Rashford and Martial have strayed offside too many times, Rashford in particular, but he's not helped by the full backs and midfielders taking 2 or 3 extra touches either. We need to release the ball quicker if we're playing on the counter.

They dominated the game but they haven't created anything witherSouness is spot on, this is "hanging on football" because the ball in our half so often, you just need to be on the wrong side of the pass to be broken through. It's just not sustainable, this approach. We need to take the game to them far more in the second half.
