Liverpool 1:2 Manchester United

Liverpool have been very good this year specially at home. Since the Leicester draw they have not lost a game at home and beaten City and Spurs. Add to that our less than convincing performances in the past at Anfield. So I would take a draw right now.
However our big game performances have been excellent under LVG so I hope that we continue the trend and put up a good fight.

I always feel a bit sick and can't relax before these games at Anfield..but today will be one of the good ones, 2-1 United.

Since the dawn of man maybe, but since the Premier League began we have won 10 and they have won 8 at Anfield. They are due a good thumping. Runs of good form don't last forever. Let's hope LVG can do to Liverpool what he did to Spain.

That's pretty interesting, probably a good decision too as we're bound to get some mistakes with Atkinson. Let's just hope they are small mistakes..

You can be sure Liverpool are going to press high up the pitch and close him down like crazy. Usually the sort of game he struggles in. It'll be the complete opposite of the sort of space he got against Spurs last week.

Given our dreadful away form and Rooney's record of 1 goal in the last decade at Anfield, Liverpool are surely the big favourites for this. A draw would be a good result here.

agggh, the most nervous I've been before a game all season. I'm really not usually doom and gloom, but I've an awful feeling about this game. We are going to have to play our best game of the season to win this one. After that win at home, they are going to be so up for this...I just hope we are to. We'll know after about 15 minutes!

United vs Liverpool at Anfield is the game I have always feared and anticipated the most. Losing there is a nightmare, but winning at Anfield brings a joy like no other. My head says 2-1 to them but my heart is thinking we'll nick it by the same a score. Fellaini and Rooney for us and Coutinho for them. I am split like many over Mata and ADM. Who will chase back and defend when they have to and most effectively?? This is what LVG has to decide. His hand has been forced in defence unless he is trying to kid everyone.

Thank god for Gary Neville.
