I understand what you are saying and we have a really good first 11, but a few of the younger ones haven't got great stamina. We cant compete on three fronts with 11 flagging players, we have to prioritise. We need to be fresh for PSG, Chelsea & Liverpool coming up.
So we prepare for those 3 games by getting beat by Fulham with that crazy line up:wenger:.You think by chucking 11 names on a sheet of paper we'll win easy because we're playing a team down the wrong end of the table?Fulham will be well up for a battle and if we approach this game with anything less than 100% we'll get beat.
Total squad rotation will do nothing but get us beat.

Matic needs a rest, but I don't think Pereira is the one to replace him with Fred needing a game, too. We might have to shift to 4-2-3-1 with Herrera and Fred behind Pogba. Young needs a break, too, but I don't know if we can take the risk of starting Dalot. Maybe a late sub. Good game for Smalling to get back to some fitness, I'd start with him if he's ready. Rest Rashford and Lingard. Start with Lukaku (no other option here) and Mata. Martial didn't play much against Leicester, so I'd start with him and have Sanchez off the bench.

    DDG
    Dalot, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw
    Herrera, Fred
    Mata, Pogba, Martial
    Lukaku

Get Sanchez on for Martial at the hour mark.
Depending on whether or not we're winning, Pereira for Pogba and maybe a youth player like Greenwood/Garner/Chong or Valencia for Shaw (Dalot switching).
If we are chasing a goal or two, however, Rashford and Lingard are no brainers.

Seeing as Fulham are over reliant on Mitrovich and they're practically down, please can we hammer them? Would love to see another 4-0 just before we play PSG and Liverpool.

    Let's have this line up

    --------------DDG--------------
    Dalot--Bailly--Lindelof--Shaw
    -------Fred ----- Herrera ----
    ------------ Pogba -----------
    --Sanchez--Lukaku--Martial

Not many changes needed. Martial and Sanchez can interchange ... Making more than 2 or 3 changes really changes the flow and fluidity of the team

It's funny because you have 4 changes in that lineup.

Full strength team. Finish them by Half time then take off Pog/Rash on the 60th

We need the three points, we’ve done all the hard work catching up to near 4th we can’t risk dropping silly points now. PSG play tonight, then Saturday before us plus I’m sure all our players will find that extra spring in their step against PSG

That may be the case but at least I have hope for Dalot to learn and improve, and Fulham would be a good confidence builder if he's done it.
Dalot is pretty bad defensively. We'd be basically giving Fulham an area to exploit.

Pogba definitely needs a rest. He's dead on his feet and is risking an injury. Id rest Rashford and play Sánchez up top. Matić & Young too need resting.

Those are the key changes id like to see.

    This would be my team:

    de Gea
    Dalot, Bailly, Lindelöf, Shaw
    Herrera, Fred
    Mata
    Lingard, Sánchez, Martial
My only change would be having Lukaku on the starting11, maybe for Mata, and have Lingard filling the midfield.

We can't underestimate them. Only one or two changes for me. If anyone is rested maybe Rashford & Matic.

Lingard, Lukaku and Sanchez as the front 3?

Dalot might be better going forward, but he's positionally worse than Young.

Luckily for us I dont think Fulham is a great threat, this is an ideal game for Dalot to play, learn and improve. I mean if we can trust him to do the job against Fulham we better ship him out.

If we really have faith in him into becoming a quality player then we should give him minutes and Fulham seems like the ideal game.

Lingard and Matic clearly were near physical death due to fatigue, so we should rest them definitely. Young deserves being benched simply based on performance (or lack thereof).

So, we have Fred, Dalot and someone instead of Lingard to start. Provided there is Mitrovic, it could be a good idea to bring in Mike.

Rather than that, usual starters should play, with Rashford and Pogba being substituted in the second half, should the game develop favorably for us. Third substitution depends on how it evolves

He's 19. Regardless of him being ready or not right now shouldn't warrant any talk about shipping him out.

    I mean seriously?

Of course Im not serious, just was making a point about trusting Dalot, he has played fairly well for a youngster and the way to improve is to give him game time.

Fulham are shite but I really don't trust this United team when we have to rotate, especially in midfield. We should be rotating the entire midfield and Lingard. We don't have the quality to do it.

I think if we make some of the changes being suggested here we could end up with another Burnley. Fulham are capable of scoring goals (and conceding them)

I echo pretty much most fans concerns on this one, would feel far more comfortable to field close to our best starting eleven, then when we're 3 or 4 goals to the good, take Pogba, Rashford and Martial off. The main thing is we field our best attackers to kill the game asap. Going with a Mata, Lukaku, Sanchez combo again could lead us into the abyss. Hopefully Ole has learned his lesson.

    Would love to see Lukaku ( R.W ), Alexis ( 9 ) and Martial as ( L.W ).

Alexis and Rashford up top with Martial as a false nine would be better. Lukaku to sub in for Marcus at or just before minute 60.

    ------Alexis------Rashford----
    ------------Martial-------------

    ---Pogba----------Herrera-----
    -------------Matic--------------

    Shaw--Lindelof---Bailly--Dalot

    -------------DDG--------------

Subs: Fred, Smalling, Lingard, Grant, Lukaku, Mata

Would play Dalot in this one, could possibly play Jones in a DM role, with Herrera and Fred either side of him, Pogba as a more advanced midfielder, and Martial and Sanchez as the front two. The full backs would be asked to push forward at will, with Jones holding the fort so to speak, it would give us options out wide, with strength and stability in the middle. Not sure I've seen a Martial/Sanchez strike force before, but could be interesting. Would bring on Lukaku for Martial, Pereira for Pogba and McTominay for Herrera if we were winning comfortably.

Very little discussion about the game here. Imagine if this is a reflection of importance of the game to the players/coaches

We would definitely find it difficult to win. Can’t afford to slip up now.

Play full strength team, bring the big guns off at half time when we're winning 3-0.

We can’t play full strength, as our full strength require Matic and Lingard, but those two nearly died of fatigue last game. We need to rest them

Or we can play them for 45 minutes, score 3 goals and bring them off instead of having to throw them on at the 60 minute mark because we're drawing 1-1 and have to go hell for leather.

the league is number 1 priority but even with that we can rotate against Fulham as long as the attitude is right

    Fulham's defence is truly woeful

    I'd play a team of

    ---------------------------DDG----------------------------
    Dalot---------Bailly---------------Lindelof----------Shaw
    ------------------Herrera------Matic--------------------
    -------------------------Lingard-------------------------
    Lukaku----------------Sanchez---------------Martial

    Pogba/Rashford most likely not needed

Fred for Herrera, McTominay for Matic , Mata for Lingard

Please play Dalot I am sick to death seeing Young start, and get the 3 points thats all.

I agree with those saying Dalot should get 80-90mins here. Its a relegation fodder team with a poor attack, he should be fine.

    Martial Sanchez Mata
    Lingard Matic Herrera
    Shaw Jones Lindelof Dalot
    De Gea

Romero Bailly Young Fred Pogba Rashford Lukaku
