Well that couldn't have gone much better. We rung the changes, six in all, clearly with an eye on PSG on Tuesday, but we still ran out very comfortable winners. Fulham started lively but then we took complete control of the game once Pogba scored the opening goal after 14 minutes. Martial then scored a wonderful solo goal to celebrate his contract extension.
In the second-half Fulham looked a beaten side and showed no belief in being able to mount a comeback. We in turn took our foot off the gas somewhat but still extended our lead to 3:0 as Pogba scored his second from the penalty spot.
We are now fourth, and if City beat Chelsea tomorrow we will stay there. We were 11 points behind fourth when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over 10 league games ago. What an incredible turn around.
Now for PSG...
