Likely a draw I think considering how close the first game was.

Rashford and Garnacho rumoured to be starting.

I was confident, but as we get closer to KO I’m predicting dooooom. I forgot our players are likely to shit the bed once they take in the home atmosphere.

Rashford , Hojlund, Garnacho front 3 apparently.

The early word on team news

The early suggestion is that Rashford and Garnacho will both start tonight. That is another damning reflection of Antony after his dreadful performance at the weekend. A lot of issues at the club are not Ten Hag’s fault, but he can’t hide from what is a really concerning transfer track record.

Front 3 I have been waiting for all season. Watch us lose.

Guessing Rashford on the right and Garnacho left?

Any chance it’s a front 2 and Bruno off the right?

long time coming for Antony. Thing is, if Garnacho works hard that side then he offers everything Antony does best. It’s not as if Antony adds balance with constantly coming inside on his left, a right sided player would swing cross after cross in at a quicker and less complicate rate

No doubt in my mind we are winning this, Copenhagen are a Europa League side at best.
    3-0.
Are United any better than EL standard so far this season?
Given their home advantage and your injuries and indifferent form I'd make you narrow favourites only.

would love to see that front 3 starting. Can have the wings swapping sides frequently to keep them off balance. Hopefully they move the ball quickly and we dont see static 1v1 crap out wide like generally seem to

I'm not a fan of Rashford on the right in general but if you really have to play him at the moment, you might as well stick him there to get Garnacho in.

Im no fan of Anthony but hes needs cutting some slack, he should not have been put back in the team so soon after the saga in Brazil and his time away from training.
My opinion is hes failed to live up to expectation but now is not the time for social media to hang him out to dry. Surely his head is not in a good place with whats going on.

I always thought Rashford is nowhere near as bad on the right as some claim.
He is much more direct imo with his crossing (especially) and shooting from that position. He initially had a bit of problems on timing his runs from that position, but I think he figured it out a bit with time.

It might be an unpopular opinion, but I think he is less prectictable from the right than on the left.

As far as picking an 11 from what we have available... I really like that! Also was my guessed team. Reguilon at left back vs Dalot or Wan Bissaka is whatever, but Bruno 10 and Garnacho/Rashford on the wings is what I've wanted to see for ages. Real quality and pace on the wings. This also gives the best chances for Hojlund. Spreads the pitch. Eriksen to be the only person who can pass the ball. McTominay as DM rather than Amrabat probably suits him better as he has actual energy.

man seeing our overall lineup is just so damn depressing. Hope the front 3 is firing today it is our only hope

edit: and our sub options dont exactly inspire a whole lot of confidence either.

Does he not like Varane anymore? I also think pellestri deserved a start tonight.

I get ETH on keeping a settled back 4. He has to stick to a line up thats somewhat works and he has made a bold decision keeping Evans in.

    Just need a win tonight.

Weird team. I'm glad Garnacho kept his place and I guess this means Rashford on the right. The defense continues to confuse me and the midfield once again a concern.

Amrabat and Mount on the bench, while we start a guy that we spent all summer trying to sell.

    Make it make sense.

We don’t score many goals these days so need a solid defensive performance and probably win 1-0.

I don't know if you credit the manager or not; if he's going out, he's going out on his own terms picking the teams he wants, which is equal parts admirable and bizarre.

So wtf is going on with Varane?

Talk of the Devils (the athletics Manchester United podcast) brought it up after the last game, ETH likes Harry more as a RCB and trusts his passing more than Varane on the left, and Evans is the only fit one who can pass playing as a LCB.
