We conceded 15 goals in the CL and currently 55 in the league. The 11 other goals are easily achieved, we conceded 3 against a Championship team two weeks ago.

Nah I think what we saw last year was a better footballer with more intelligence than Bruno and McT knowing where to position himself. He just hasn’t been played as much this season.
We still played that 3-1-6 when being offensive which is exactly what we are still trying to do, just now Cas is fecked more than last season and hasn’t been available to play with Mainoo in midfield.
Again the issue is more how poor we are at executing simple football and how often we turn over possesion and then not having the athletic ability in midfield to get back when we lose the ball. Something that shouldn’t be happening as often as it does. Add in the defence not coming up again because they don’t have any recovery space to recover anything in behind.
There is still a massive rebuild in progress but it’s just a lack of knowledge of ball that has people stating their is no style or system.
Do think However it is somewhat naive of ETH to Stick with it given his job and reputation is on the line. Especially with the casuals that can’t see the finer details.

If they were still in a relegation dogfight or pushing for Europe, they'd have even more of an impetus to get a result here. They've scored 4 without even really breaking a sweat. We make it too easy for other teams to just walk all over us.
Surely that bolded bit is the exact same situation for our players. If not, it damn well should be!
