    Please no Daniel James tonight...

I cant bare the sight of him.

fecks sake  that team is a bit of a deflator isn't it? How are we not going a bit stronger in such an important competition? Guess this is what happens when you get excited for a game.

Why have we signed Bruno and aren't playing in Europe where he excels?

Yeah, understand giving Fred some much needed rest, but that lineup is not filled with creativity. Apart from Mata perhaps. Guess Ole’s confident we can decide the tie at home.

This guy just doesn't learn with his poor choices. Martial & Lingard upfront?

    Is he babysitting ighalo now?

    Why?

Martial heavily needs a striker to play up top with.

If you want to do that you go with aggressive players to get a 0-0 or 1-0 not weak players such as Mata, Lingard, Perreira in the heart of the team.

I can see us losing 2-0 here.

I’m pleased in a way that Ole is prioritising the league over this tournament. This line up shows as much.
Looking at the team I expect us to get beaten tonight - Brugge as a good side.

Not a lot of options if we want our best players play full 90 on Monday and Sunday, I guess.

I just dont get it. trusting players that have let you down consistently.

Pretty shit line-up don’t get not starting Fernandes and Ighalo, was expecting more to be honest

Making us play on the Monday before a European away game midweek, especially after a 2 week layoff for both Utd n Chelsea was beyond pathetic. Sky / BT have way too much power over English football.

I guess but if we want to be in the CL then we will have to be doing this. I understand resting Bailly, Fred, Bruno, then play Ighalo. Or unless he is waiting for him to get fit.... then why sign a player who will take a month to get fit? its been 2 weeks already.

Lingard's form has been bad enough this season. But insisting on playing him on the shoulder of the last defender plays into his weaknesses.

Hopefully Brugge's defenders lack the pace to live with us. I can't see us doing much to cut through them otherwise. Maybe Mata could come up with a pass or two.

I am utterly flabbergasted by that team. Has anyone predicted that XI? Three games into Bruno’s career we are back to having Lingard and Pereira playing with him benched?!

Very good setup. Would have changed Maguire and Martial but thats about it. Shame that Greenwood is not fit.

Horrendous line up. I understand shaking things up but why play both Lingard and Periera and then add to that Mata too. Why does Lingard still keeps getting chance after chance, the guy is a joke and should have been shown the door long back.

Despite signings we are still so lacking in options and squad depth.

Lingard and Andreas are back FFS.

I was hoping that martial won't start tonight and still hoping that we pull him off at 60 min. max. and give time to bruno and ighalo.

Hoping against hope for an away win
