Just go back to not watching.

What a good idea. Tried it many times but unfortunately this disasterous mess of a club is in my blood. Much harder to give up than fags or booze so I will continue to watch and suffer, if that’s OK with you. So if you don’t like my comments you can always give up on Red Cafe or just ignore me. I’m easy either way.

What a horrible line up that was we started with. Lingard and Pereira are playing at a level so far below what we need. They are embarrassments to the shirt.

William's worst game in the senior team also, just could not get his head around the game at all.

Martial was surprising with that goal. More of this please!

Greenwood was ill. Why would there be something going on? Hes played loads this season and is 18. Hes not going to start every game. Was going to start today but shit happens.
Right. He's played a lot and then disappeared in the last several matches. Was especially strange to not see him in a EL match. Hence the question. if he is ill, that does explain it. Thank you

Who said that? Nobody. Try reading my post.

Am I going insane here? I seem to remember once upon a time we'd play Chelsea, Bayern, Everton, Bayern over a 2 week period and, shockingly enough, we got through those periods with just a little bit of squad rotation. And that was without 2 week breaks beforehand AND while we were going for major titles.

Seems like another whole new ruleset and yardstick, just to make up for Ole's incompetence. He gets a free pass for moronic team selections because football has evolved and now you have to play whole new elevens in midweek games, even if City or Liverpool or any other top side don't seem to have to do that.

    You said that.

Except City and Liverpool does that, chances permitted against weak opposition.

Got to save De Gea, Bailly, Bissaka, Fred, Fernando, James, a draw away, and an away goal. I think I´d take that beforehand. I think only Maguire, Martial and Shaw will also start against Watford.

I get that but it’s not just this week either. With 2 weeks off we have a more crammed finish. That’s if we go far enough in cups.
We’ve now got to go all in next Thursday before going to Everton away the Sunday after. We should have won tonight and then adjusted accordingly next week. Bruno being rested for the unholy trinity was a crap decision.

No they shouldn't be. That's been the case for several years now. Is this news to you?
I’m reiterating the point, like you do on a forum and as it’s happened again. Or have you got it into your head it’s your job around here to reign in repetitive/reiterative posts?

    Odd guy.

I don't think 1-1 or 0-1 makes a huge difference for us. A 0-0 will qualify us at home. I think we will just play defensive at home and focus on winning vs Watford and Everton.

    You said that.

No, I said rest a couple of players today and a couple of different players against Watford.

For instance, rest one of Fred and Bruno today and rest the other one at the weekend.

So you reiterate the point every time they play, by asking why they are playing? And I'm the odd guy... keep the original content coming.

Hang on, you questioned the line up and we're given an answer as to why it was a second string side.

Then you moved the goalposts to none of these feckers should be at the club and used that to call ivaldo odd.

I know who I think is odd.

Ah we'll beat them at home. We've 4 days after Watford til the second leg and another 4 till Everton do he'll he able to field a stronger team and make sure of it.

You could see tonight these are no great shakes.

Yeah and said I didn’t realise we had such a tight schedule which is why we’re playing back ups. Fair enough.
Then, on a separate note, I mentioned half of the players in that depressing 11 shouldn’t even be at the club, to which I was condescended into oblivion as it’s not news. I’ll have to keep my throw away comments about the club this forum revolves around in a live match thread to myself in the future. feck me

    Are we done here, both?

No I don’t, but after watching some great performances recently it was, on this occasion, depressing to see us back with that same old shite in a European game.l so I mentioned it. Can we fecking drop it now? Or can you mither someone else for whinging about Pereira or something oh self-proclaimed guardian of red cafe originality?

Alright didn't mean to pile on. We're good.

No, I was just answering your question, you picked up the rest. I prefer to look at it with a bit of context. Mata, Andreas and Lingard are indeed shit. But guess what, they'll still be shit tomorrow, and no matter how often I feel compelled to tell people they are shit, they'll still be there tomorrow. They're still members of a very thin squad. And guess what? At times we are going to have to play them to give the genuine quality in our a squad a rest. And guess what? They're still shit when they play, and we will be stuck with them for at least another 4/5 months no matter how often we declare them shit. Crazy huh?

Had a day trip to Brugge recently. feck me it was cold.

Belgium is like Holland, great places to visit and the people make you feel welcome, but they are best avoided between October and May unless you have to go, we think it's cold in the NW and NE in England but that's a whole new level of cold, and you can't put it all down to the stronger Stella which gets right into your bones.

    @GifLord

Can we get a highlights reel of all Lingard's misplaced passes and bad touches? (might take you a while).

And what purpose does that serve? Apart from Mata and Martial, and that's even open to debate, they were all piss poor last night, but we got a result that should be enough to see us through to the next round. Which at kick-off i'm guessing was the objective.

Decent result, should be enough to get the job done. Nice to see Ighalo play and Bruno is levels above. Quite a few shite performances but to be expected to a certain degree due to the quality and lack of previous playing time for some of these guys. Bring on Watford.

What an awful game of football!
Does this team actually train together because it seemed to me they were playing with each other for the first time.
I saw an interview with Lindelof and Maguire on MUTV when they were in Marbella and they talked about how the partnership was blossoming, they must have been talking about something else apart from football I assume.
We were just so slow and all the sideways movement: I saw LVG in the crowd so maybe that was in homage to him.
I really am starting to get a bit p1ssed off with Ole as this is his team and the quality of football is really poor.

Yeah I know. But £40 for the ferry....rude not to really

What purpose do the fantastic videos of Jones, Smalling (and Lingard) passing the ball out of play, falling over, scoring OG's and generally being shite on Youtube serve?

    They're f*cking hilarious mate.

Also, Mata was good? The whole team barring Pereira, Mata and Lingard were alright and Lingard was especially bad. Sunday league level bad and that's an insult to Sunday league.

Good on Youtube, but there's a time and a place for them, a forum drowning in negativity isn't the place.
