    For a start I love the fact this kind of football winds up the hell out of every oppo fan pretty much. Just how you guys loved it when we trolled Liverpool last season.

    Better that then be attractive and do what you did to City?

    Mata and Young, too? Both created very little, all game. Their corners were atrocious, too. Best attacking player was Shaw, by a mile.

    No, we wouldn't. That is the worst team to win the title I've ever seen. All they do is park the bus and moan to the ref. No respect at all from me. I spit on them.
     
    Fair play to them, they're the best team in Europe for soaking up pressure and getting that sucker punch in. Mourinho set up to stop us playing, which I suppose is testament to how well we've been playing recently, but feck me it's horrible to watch. I couldn't watch them week in week out. Hard to play against and grudgingly deserving of the league. Bastards.

    Really? was that not what happened today then? Mourinho planned to sit back park the bus and nick a goal on the counter and it worked. It hurts because we were the better team and I hate that Chelsea manage to beat us like that. Also were the 3 mentioned players not poor? Or is a player I criticised earlier one of your favourites.....sorry.

    Yeah, when he's on form and beats a player it can be devastating. The problem is he's been out of form for a while and he just tends to give the ball away. Still worth having him on the pitch because he can make assists that no one else can, he's a match winner -- just frustrating as hell at times.

    Never understand this argument. If they hadnt scored there, they would have attacked more.
    They didnt need the win. They were always going to shut down after scoring. They did their bit.

    De Gea should have been off. They had the second best chance in the game too.. where Drogba/Hazard nearly scored.
    They deserved the win.
    Did it the boring way. And we werent outplayed. That is the good part. The confidence shouldnt take a huge knock after that performance..

    but Chelsea deserved the win. We didnt go enough to get anything from the game.

    It might of been better playing 3-5-2 with McNair, Smalling and Shaw as the CB's, Valencia and Young as the wingbacks, Herrera, Rooney, Di Maria as the 3 CM's, Fellaini and Falcao up top. Would of set us up better, I don't know I'm not LvG, but we knew they'd come up with ways to stop us and we should of altered it.

    Not this... Let's not use Carrick as the reason we lost.. We were good enough to beat them today if Rooney and Falcao were as clinical as Hazard... They were also missing Costa and Remy btw...

    I don't hate Januzaj at all, just because I have the name "BringNaniBack" why does that automatically mean I hate Januzaj? He and Di Maria did nothing when they came on thats all.
     
    Good performance. Chelsea's defending was very assured, they're a big strong unit defensively. Zouma did a good job on Fellaini. Hopefully this puts some people's idea that Blind should be starting at LB to bed. I gave Shaw and McNair 8s. Rooney had one of his better cm showings, quite tidy and got into good shooting positions.

    Side note, you'll probably never see two worse cameos in one game than Januzaj and Blackett.
     
    At the very least he shouldn't have been booked. The caution is for simulation. He didn't simulate anything.
     
    United put in several crosses, that was never going to beat Terry or Cahill. You guys should have gone through the middle, acres of space as Zouma was chasing Fellaini around and the centrebacks were exposed. Mata should have played in the hole.

    It was more down to us not having that killer final ball. They defended well but I wouldn't go as far to say they were in total control.

    It is the knowledge that my team will cave in before every single big game we play that is unacceptable. It's not like Chelsea surprised us today or they surprised City earlier in the season. That's what's miserable about it, they just go out and are like "we are not interested in this football nonsense, over to you". Maybe it's the fact that he never played the game but it's amazing how a football manager shows absolutely no interest in building a team that plays football.
     
    Take hazard out of this chelsea team and theres literally no point in turning up to watch them. Boring, Negative tactics and wasting as much time as humanly possible. No matter what the league looks like theres no way I would swap places with them if it meant watching that sort of stuff every week, id rather lose playing football than do whatever that was. Today for me this was a perfect demonstration of why I never wanted Mourinho near United and never will.

    On to next week with our heads held high.

    Nah I'm not using it as an excuse, it's just more of an observation. They had massive holes to exploit in midfield Carrick would have caused them all sorts of trouble.

    Really though you mention Remy? well shiiiiiiiiiit.
     
    Excellent performance by you lot. It's a shame to see us play such embarrassing football from us since the the loss against Tottenham. We were majestic in the first half of the season but Mourinho has since reverted to type solely because of his incessant fear of failure.

    The only reason we keep getting away with these shithouse tactics is because we have one of the 5 best players on the planet. Take Hazard away from this team and Mourinho can't play this style of football. He's his get out of jail card.

    I agree, although I think most players of his type, wingers/dribblers or players that take risks can be frustrating. Look at Real fans and Bale, I even have some Chelsea mates that criticise Hazard at times.
    He obv hasn't had a brilliant season, but I think he has done better than most people like to admit.
    What I found most frustrating about him today though, was that he seemed quite reluctant to dribble with the ball/take players on. Now that would worry me, I don't want him in the team, if he doesn't have the freedom to express himself in that way tbh
     
    Go to Everton (hopefully with Carrick) and play like that and we win.

    Play how we have for the past month in our remaining games and we win them all IMO.

    Before the Spurs game, we had 6 games that were going to define our season.

    So far we're 4 wins out of 5. Thats not bad. We've lost away to the champions today, dust ourselves down and move on.

    Did you forget the part where di Maria hasn't started a game in a month? The second part of your post is simply stupid. He came on with 15 minutes and had to get us a point; he's obviously going to lose the ball...

    Young and Mata have been excellent, but they were poor, today, and no better than di Maria.

    I'm actually really baffled. He created more chances in the fifteen minutes he was on and did more than most of the team in the majority of the rest of the game, and yet fecking dumb cnuts here are all moaning like a bunch of imbeciles.

    He had two or three players on him the moment he got the ball and literally no support from Blackett whatsoever in any way shape or form and he still did more to get the ball down to Falcao, Rooney, Fellaini...

    Utterly baffled as to where this weird criticism of him is coming from.
     
    Come on guys, Learn to be gracious in defeat - we lost fair and square.
    I realise that some of you wanted Chelsea to play to our strengths (which is bizarre), but that was never going to happen with Mourinho (JM).
    I stated a while back, that for me Arsenal and Man City games are guaranteed 3 pointers for us. Reason: because they attempt to play football against us - if you try this, you will almost certainly lose.
    To beat us, you need to park the bus and hit us on the break. Southampton demonstrated this and now Chelsea have also done this. This won't change next year.
    JM (unlike Wenger), adapts his playing style according to his opponents and the result: Chelsea are league leaders and rightfully so.
    Well done Chelsea...but next year, I think Man Utd have to be odds on to win the title.

    In fairness we played to our strengths. We played well, especially given that we didnt have Blind or Carrick.

    And with regards Falcao: before the game started, people were predicting him to score a hat-trick. Honestly guys, Falcao is no longer capable of conjuring any magic. Accept it.

    Jesus Christ, even Barcelona in 2009 did not create chances against that Chelsea side. Do people not understand that it's close to impossible to open up team that doesn't want to play.

    Because they didn't allow it. We were hopeless on the final third and even when we managed to create something it was always blocked instantly from their defenders. It was a great tactical schema prepared and realized very good from Mourinho and Chelsea.

    No shame on that. Better managers than Van Gaal (well, and him before) had been victims of Mourinho.
     
    Falcao will get battered but I thought he was you most dangerous player along with Shaw who is just fantastic. Smalling's improvement under LVG is also a sight to behold although the corpse of Didier Drogba isn't the greatest opponent.

    Mata was extremely poor and still struggles to influence games outside goals and set pieces. I think LVG will be in the market for true winger regardless of his current purple patch.
     
    Time wasting hast to be looked at. There was no point of that added on time. Can someone please calculate how much time the ball was out of play in the last 20 minutes?

    So we are better than them today but only lack the x factor and your solution is to change everything ?

    The reality is that we lacked the speed that Carrick and Blind bring, we lacked these heavy passes, and obviously Rooney upfront.
    We didn't win that game because Herrera wasn't at his position, Rooney wasn't at his position and Carrick wasn't at his position, it has nothing to do with tactic and everything to do with lack of depth in midfield.

    They hardly attacked before the goal, so tbh its not necessarily true.
    What happened was we didn't let them have the ball, and when they had it, we closed them down and got it off them quickly.
    I think Chelsea were poor today overall, but they got the job done
