Some of you have such a hard on for Hazard you have to take his side whilst we're playing them :wenger:

that's what I thought too. But Young was taking the throws on the left side(doesn't the wing back or full back usually take them ?) So made me think that it was 4 at the back (excluding the wing backs).

So a 4-4-2 where the back four are all centre backs.
3-5-2 which can be easily transformed in 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 when Jones goes further up pitch which he has been doing a lot.

This is why he will never be regarded as a truly elite player. Like Suarez. No matter how skillful he is, the truly best players don't cheat like that. He is a total knob. Diving cheat. The ref needs to be retrospectively banned.
i refer you to barca v psg. Suarez is a massive cheat lol but is elite. best striker in the world

Hazard is the best in our league behind aguero.

first Herrera is a clear yellow lol

he sees him coming and fecking blocks him off. If that was on Herrera itd be a different story on here

Don't see any rule saying he needs to get out of Hazards way

Expecting sense about us from Shearer is doomed from the start. It must be like going to a school reunion to find out the girl you turned down in high school is now a Playboy bunny every time he has to talk about United.

Useless game going forwards. We cannot score. Will get tired and concede.

What is Gullit talking about, Conte has been waving the imaginary card all half. Mourinho has behaved well.

Conte is a bit classless acting like a child on the touchline.

Herrera should never have gotten the first yellow card. The second was borderline yellow but no way it's worthy a second yellow card. It's not the first time Oliver is "against" us.

With that being said, Herrera is fecking stupid to give the ref an opportunity to send him out.
He has to go in on people. It is a risk you have to take and a decent referee will let most things go. Thank god Oliver wasn't around when Paul Scholes was playing.

    Good one, who's 'they'?

He's done it for persistent fouling, Herrera has been bad for it in this game. Hazard is getting took out here and there, so I think the refs trying to get us to stop it to help the game flow. If it was one of our players, we'd want to see cards to get them to wind it in.

But in major games you want to see entertaining, flowing football and our players are preventing that with persistent fouling. We started brightly and the constant fouling was our downfall, we looked like getting a goal.
So he got a yellow cause other players fouled persistently?

Looked like Fellaini was stripped off and ready to come on even before the red, Mkhitaryan injured?

Don't know why we always get Dean And Oliver!

Someone in the FA sends them to our games for one reason or another.

yes I watched that game and was surprised at how slow the Bournemouth player was running. Pogba is not a fast player and his acceleration is especially slow.

Bullshit. How many players did he ran past? Just the amount of time he took to get to the other end of the pitch even without anyone else on the field is enough proof of his speed

M.Oliver to send off the managers?
Second is never a yellow in isolation although seen some say Ref told Smalling next player to foul hazard is yellowed.

I think that's exactly what happened.

He was influenced by the crowd and the foul 10seconds before.
but Herrera should have realised it wasn't a clever time to make that sort of challenge.

Appalling refereeing though. I'm sure they're under a directive to keep it 11v11 unless they have to make a sending off. And that wasn't that scenario.

Influenced by a crowd? That's no excuse. This isn't his first rodeo as a ref. I am shocked by the low standards of refereeing both in England and Europe. How are these well-trained professionals susceptible to influence from the crowd? They need to do their job and be objective no matter what the fans say. Or do they expect fans to be objective?

Why does Conte react so much? Taking a leaf out of Klopp's book? He is starting to make me dislike him.

People slating Conte for being angry at the (obviously instructed by Mou) persistent and intentional fouling? Really? He's doing what any manager would do and wants his players protected.

Anyways, I think the sending off was harsh. Definitely a foul but shouldn't have seen red. Stupid for Herrera to even be in that position, though.

Thought the Herrera first one was pretty much a stonewall Yellow, body checked and was aware what he was doing. He did 'nothing' knowing it impeded Hazard and was cynical, smart foul. Second is never a yellow in isolation although seen some say Ref told Smalling next player to foul hazard is yellowed.
If that true it's mental. You can't give a yellow card for fouling a certain player. Can't be true.

I don't think the first one was a yellow. I'm not sure Herrera was aware of where Hazard was going. His eyes were following the ball. I mean, what should he have done? He just stood there and I'm damn sure it wasn't intentional.

To say it's a stonewall yellow is something only a very biased person would say. Try and be a little objective at least.

Michael Oliver has a face you want to punch repeatedly until it changes. The tactics were right in the first half, shame Oliver decided to send Herrera off for Hazards flimsy dive. Barely touched it.

Not too sure we'll get anything from this now though.

Feel like we should've taken Rashford off and not Miki. Miki is better at literally everything, including competing in the air or doing any sort of hold up play. Our only hope at this point is more or less win on penos.
That's what I was thinking as well...

Thought we looked the much better team apart from that Hazard run.

It would only happen us, against all odds, written off by everyone, playing brilliantly and a red card against us.

Stinks of Nani's red vs Madrid.
