Clearly all it took. We were clearly told by our manager before the game to foul Hazard. As soon as Oliver told Smalling that's it he should've shouted it to the entire team. Especially that thick cnut Zander.

You can't book a player because he fouled a certain player.

Was that genuinely 2 yellow cards for 2 fouls? 2 very minor fouls also. Unbelievable really a game of this nature has been ruined.

Oliver always gets pressured doesn't he?
Persistent fouls mainly by Jones so he yellows Herrera (for a touch/Hazard dive).... Oliver is a dick.

BBC studio.... Phil Neville (couldn't explain anything), an ex Chelsea legend, an ex player who's anti-United and a presenter who's anti-United. BBC.... neutral my fecking arse

Our only hope now is to fall over at ever tackle and harrass the weak ref.

I think we looked pretty good. Ander red potentially ruined the game. Nice dive by Hazard and nice refereeing by Oliver. Couldn't wait to send Ander off.

He was influenced by the crowd and the foul 10seconds before.
but Herrera should have realised it wasn't a clever time to make that sort of challenge.

Appalling refereeing though. I'm sure they're under a directive to keep it 11v11 unless they have to make a sending off. And that wasn't that scenario.

Thought the Herrera first one was pretty much a stonewall Yellow, body checked and was aware what he was doing. He did 'nothing' knowing it impeded Hazard and was cynical, smart foul. Second is never a yellow in isolation although seen some say Ref told Smalling next player to foul hazard is yellowed.

Even Lamps doesn't think it's a deserved yellow. The Ref is just looking for attention
I always liked Lampard even as a player. I remember a game when Ronaldo should have been sent off, but Lamps stopped the ref from doing so. He's not one for soft challenges.

feck me, I hope they don't let you watch lower league football. You've have a heart attack, they tackle players and everything!
    Good one, who's 'they'?
Second yellow wasn't a yellow card worthy foul..
He's done it for persistent fouling, Herrera has been bad for it in this game. Hazard is getting took out here and there, so I think the refs trying to get us to stop it to help the game flow. If it was one of our players, we'd want to see cards to get them to wind it in.
Yes Ander has some blame, but come on this is a major game. You don't give red cards unless it's serious.
But in major games you want to see entertaining, flowing football and our players are preventing that with persistent fouling. We started brightly and the constant fouling was our downfall, we looked like getting a goal.

Worry at the moment is that we're gonna struggle to keep the ball effectively and eventually we'll get tired. Too many players out there can't move the ball well enough. Was an issue pre the sending off where we couldn't make real chances.

Come to think of it. First yellow is a ridiculous one too.

The pundits seem to fail to understand that just because Hazard has been man marked, it hasn't' been by the same player each time.

Lampard is quite a good pundit.

One positive is that Herrera, Mkhi and Zlatan will all be fresh for Rostov on Thursday.

first Herrera is a clear yellow lol

he sees him coming and fecking blocks him off. If that was on Herrera itd be a different story on here

BBC = Bunch of Biased cnuts. I emailed In last year and said I did want to pay my licence fee as they have no idea what objective means.

He may go down softly, but my god hes running the show

This is why he will never be regarded as a truly elite player. Like Suarez. No matter how skillful he is, the truly best players don't cheat like that. He is a total knob. Diving cheat. The ref needs to be retrospectively banned.

that's what I thought too. But Young was taking the throws on the left side(doesn't the wing back or full back usually take them ?) So made me think that it was 4 at the back (excluding the wing backs).

So a 4-4-2 where the back four are all centre backs.

That's ridiculous though. Special privileges for a certain player.

Commentators saying that the ref warned Smalling that the next foul on Hazard will get a booking, period.

    How is this allowed?

How can a ref show such deliberate and blatant intention to protect a specific player?? Totally unfair, this should not he allowed. The ref hasn't even even tried to hide the fact that he is biased. May as well put a blue shirt on. Disgraceful.
Same guy who sent Di Maria off for touching him. No surprise here.

Conte screaming for 45 minutes straight like the DEA have just raided his jungle labs.

Conte is a bit classless acting like a child on the touchline.

Herrera should never have gotten the first yellow card. The second was borderline yellow but no way it's worthy a second yellow card. It's not the first time Oliver is "against" us.

With that being said, Herrera is fecking stupid to give the ref an opportunity to send him out.

You've never watched El Classico then.
