Marcus Rashford trying to show Ole he is not good on right side episode 74.

Martial is also central player not left Winger.

Move Rashford to The left bring greenwood on for Martial or Cavani

and please please put Fred on for Matic because we have 3 midfielders and they 50 metres apart.

Worst nad weirdest half of football match i have ever seen.

How the hell did that Maguire header get ruled out....watched it 10 times now there’s nothing in it

Maguire disallowed goal was a joke.

Once again we are all sat here wondering why we haven’t signed a starting RW. Now Ole is trying Rashford on the right when it has never worked. This stifles both wings as Martial isn’t a natural winger who will cross the ball, he wants to come in central. Should have signed a proper RW in the summer.

Worst ref performance I've seen in a long time

Maguire goal was perfectly fine and you see it all the time in the PL

4 minutes added time  missing the Shaw foul (looked a pen!), booking Shaw!!! What a joke

Unpopular opinion but overall play this season Marcus has been just as bad as Martial he just has a few more goals. His overall play has been poor a lot this season. Hopefully he pops up with the goal to cover it up as I feel 1 goal wins this

They've both been pretty poor today. It's not a game that suits their strengths.

But Rashford has without doubt had way more good moments than Martial this season to date.

What a strange game. Burley haven't allowed us to play and we also aren't making it easy for ourselves with our sloppy play.

We have passed the ball appallingly badly in the final third, otherwise decent openings have come to nothing as we are so careless with our passing. Despite this, should be 1-0 but for a truly disgraceful decision.

I'd love a written explanation on how on earth Maguire's goal doesn't stand.

Klopp's talking points seemed to have had the desired effect. Refereeing decisions in this game have been shameful

Rashford has been nothing short of diabolical.

    Disgustingly lazy player nowadays.

Stats back it up too. Always the lowest in our team for pressures, successful pressures (good indicator to the intensity in which he goes into them) and intense sprints.

In a team containing Martial, that's ridiculous.

    Today

Intense Sprints 0 - Joint lowest in the team
Pressures 0 - Lowest in the team

This is poor. We have had some bad luck with the ref, but we are not creating enough.

All our attackers struggle so I think it is down to our tactics rather than players having a bad day. Not enough movement together as a team.

Hopefully we see improvements second half.

So stop start, Burnley will win this and just kill the clock. Honestly it’s not football, racist little football club (all lives matter) can get in the bin, hope they go down the brexit ball stoke wannabes.

The expected tough game against hoofball Burnley. Maguire goal could easily have stood. Was nothing more than a yellow in that Shaw challenge not sure what Gary Neville was raving about.

Really poor half of football to watch. Absolutely zero flow to the game with the amount of stoppages. Awful football. We've probably had the better of the chances but those have been very hard to come by.

The first VAR decision is a little annoying how it played out, but I can accept that Shaw followed through and probably a foul. However the second VAR decision to disallow the goal from Maguire is a joke tbh. Incredibly soft reason to disallow that.

We need to up our game significantly in the second half if we want to win this.

Okay I am taking it all back. Shaw actually missed the ball and made contact with the Burnley player... but such a difficult decision. Yellow card about right, because it it was a 50-50 ball. I only worked it out by doing a frame-by-frame. Even in slo mo it looks like Shaw made contact first but he didnt.

Did Neville claim Maguire goal was correctly disallowed?
We scored a perfect goal, and the ref made a wrong decision and canceled it. Why VAR didnt help beats me.
The Maguire one getting disallowed without even a proper VAR check was scandalous
Ruled out against team which style is based on headers like that. Awful decision

Guarantee Burnley will score a similar goal in the 2nd half & it’ll be allowed.

It's the ref and VAR who have stitched us up not the Burnley players mate.
True...its more their modus operandi that irks me. We'll bully the hell out of you and score...but fall over and be pussies asap as a form of defence. They want a shithousery battle then let's dig right fecking in. Spirit of Keane on that pitch please.

To stem this Burnley tide we need a higher level of mental fortitude. Starting in that dressing room now

I would hate to be a Burnley fan. The highlight of their season is scrapping a win against a top 6 side playing Allardyce football!

We are in trouble if they get a goal.

People honestly overestimate the "getting the ball" stuff in fouls. It makes me feel like even if you break a player's leg while fouling it's fine as long you get the ball at the end !

I found the decision to be the correct one but I wouldn't have given Shaw a booking, a foul was enough.
I thought the complaint was more that VAR was employed to pull the game back to that foul, when in many cases VAR has not been used to do that. Seems like despite the technology, we are dependent on shithousery from the "elite" refs of the game.

We looked super sloppy tonight, most of the football was played in our half the first quarter of that game. Not helped however by VAR and ref want to give Shaw a yellow so they don't have to send off the Burnley defender taking Cavani out as last man. Then the Maguire goal chalked off for no reason at all.

Keep plugging away at them we should get a goal, tough game being made tougher by these calls. Come on boys u can do it

Sorry, I dont see that. I see a player going for the ball.. and getting it, and if you tackle there is always going to be some level of physical contact... but I cannot see what you saw at all. Slow motion always makes these things look bad... like premeditated but there is no way you can be penalised for winning the ball. In real time it is a straightforward getting to the ball first.

The rules say otherwise. If the level of contact is deemed too harsh or dangerous then it’s a free kick no matter if you got the ball first.

Maybe it is time to burst Rashy’s bubble. In terms of output he’s come on a lot but so many basics like a simple first touch and control of the ball in tight areas are simply not there. In a tight game like this he’s been almost useless.

The Maguire one getting disallowed without even a proper VAR check was scandalous
Problem with VAR is that they cancel decisions which are obviously wrong. If ref allowed goal, goal would stand after VAR check. Crazy stuff, isn't it? Ref fecked us there, not VAR

cant see where was Harry's faul. He was already in the air, not used hands to be higher by lift of opponent arm, didnt stop defender to jump by hand, nothing. Same I cant believe luke shaw challenge was faul. To me the challnge was 50:50, both determined and agresivelly attacking ball, luke clearly touch it, then bodies contacted, dont want to say referee is joke, but no way foul
