Well done Pogba. I’ve criticised you a lot recently, but you dragged us over the line tonight.

Pogba has his legs under him now, he's looking much stronger, got more wind, and another MotM performance for me.

Ha ha ha. What pish you talk. It was his vision to pick out Pogba. If he was shit, he wouldn't see Pogba at all. Utter balls.

As I said, one pass doesn’t excuse what was a rubbish performance.

I never said he didn’t have good Visio n for the pass, but that’s all he did all game, hence people moaning.

Oh and this was about the best I've ever seen Pogba in a United shirt. Totally bossed all areas he drifted into. Magnificent.

Great 3 pts dug in cracking goal from pogba who was my motm. Let's go again Sunday.

Ah yeah excellent game plan to have the refs feck over the other team and bail out a clear goal to get them annoyed...

I don't see how we lost our heads anyway. Because Bruno got a yellow for talking back?
Because we were fouling them in stupid areas, see Wan Bissaka just pushing player, not even going for the ball.

7m 40s of added time was not pleasant at all given that 4 minutes were added. Kevin Friend did all he could to screw us today

Great win. First half we had to fight hard. Didn’t get much done in attack but we matched their work rate and didn’t let them rough us up, even if we weren’t totally at ease. Second half though we came out and showed our class and were worthy of the win. Could have been a nervy game, but we didn’t look nervous, we looked determined to win.

Pogba was immense. Bailly was excellent. Matic, AWB and Shaw were all good too. For once this wasn’t a glass cannon performance, with a leaky defence and uncertain midfield being bailed out by a couple of moments of class up front. This was a resolute and well drilled team performance that got us the win.

Couple of downsides. Our strikers looked a bit off colour again, and they were against City. Hope this doesn’t mean anything. And it looks like Martial and maybe Matic are out of the weekend too. Still, can’t be greedy. Injuries and players losing form are all part and parcel of the challenge of a season.

Overall very happy. Bring on the scousers.

I expected us to win by a bigger margin, and we probably would have, if it wasn't for those pesky refs.

Pogba was immense today. I've been one of his biggest critics, but that was a great performance. That beauty of goal wasn't even the best thing he did today, he totally bossed the midfield. I haven't seen him play like this since the Europa final. Man of the match no doubt.

Bailly was also great. Rashford, despite not doing much else pops in with a beautiful assist. I don't like to see him playing on the right.

Martial is doing things well but it's not coming off for him. At this point I think he should see a shaman or witch doctor.

Top of the league! Where's that whoop whoop thread?

This is a game Van Gaal would have lost and Mou would be happy with the draw. Shocking reff, and long ball/park the bus tactic by Burnley. A big 3 points and top of the league in January since 2013.

Great to see the lads digging out these ugly wins. Pogba is the last guy I’d have expected to deliver 9/10 performance away to Burnley but that’s what happened. Also, Eric Bailly was immense again.

Having watched again... Shaw DOES kick the ball against the Burnley player and then there was contact over what is a 50/50 ball, two players honestly going for it. If he had not got it .. different story.

Came here to say exactly this.

I think he gets ball, but gets a lot of the player too. Bit careless maybe but no malice. On balance the right call. United actually won 2-0. Nothing wrong with Maguire goal - scandalous officiating

Learn the rules, he clatters the player in the follow-through aka. endangering the opponent. A slight touch of the ball is enough if you brush the player or body-check him afterwards, studs into leg is a yellow card.
Shaw played the ball. It's not his fault that they the other player ran into the space behind the ball, Luke has zero intention of any harm and zero control of the follow-through. Any ref that would have used their brains could see that.
