Whoscored predicts a 1:0 for the home side, hopefully not. Think we'll nick it, 2:0

Need another huge game from Ander seeing as he will be well rested. They're ok at home but Everton exposed them defensively quite easily recently, we should have too much for them. 0-2 win with goals from Rasher and Young.

It's about fecking time that we put 5 or 6 past someone. Hopefully that day is today.

Darmian can do a job at CB. I'd trust him more there than Blind.
That is crazy talk! Darmian isn't even a particularly good full back, let alone centre back. Burnley are going to park the bus and won't offer much going forward, so Blind's passing skills will be useful. I would play Blind, Tuanzebe, TFM or Carrick at centre back before I even considered Darmian.

How many times has a team scored 5 or 6 in a PL match this season? I think those days are past us, except for perhaps one freak match a season.

    Eh, not Burnley away.

Today is as good a time as any mate. A bloody good showing from our forwards today could be the catalyst to remove any lingering psychological doubts that so many of them seem to be playing with,

But for poor finishing and superman like goalkeeping performances, we'd have five or six high scoring matches already this season.

I wonder if Michael keane will play today ? Considering he's current contract situation.

Doubt it. In those matches (for example Burnley at OT) where had 132 shots on goal, if we scored a couple we would've sat back at 2-0 / 3-0.

Of course he'll play. One of their best players and they have a chance to pretty much secure the PL status today.

That would be my idea also, but lets just say behind closed doors he has told burnley he is coming back to united next season. (im not saying he is by the way)

If you was dyche and this happened, would you play him ?

Well we can create any scenario we want, but I doubt that has happened, so he'll play. If it did, I'd play him until Burnley were safe and after that perhaps consider dropping him IF there was some contract dispute.

Valencia hasn't travelled. I wouldn't play the whole trio of Pogba-Micki-Rashford after all completing 120 minutes on Thursday night.

It's unlikely but if that scenario has happened then I would expect Dyche to play him. He's their best defender and will want to play as well as he can to impress Jose.

Very good point. I just hope if he plays, he does a wes brown/oshea job and scores a nice own goal.

They're quite good at home tho.

Exactly. That's why it's strange that you'd prefer a worse cb, fullback and footballer in general to Blind.

What qualities does Darmian have that you think he would be better in defense than Blind?

Hmm, i wonder if jose is going Darmian to RB, Blind to LB, Bailly Tuanzebe CB pairing?

I think it will be Darmian - Bailly - Blind - Shaw and then Valencia - Bailly - Blind - Darmian for city.

Didn't Jose say he was happy with Shaw but mentioned something about leg cramps? I thought Shaw would be a bench option.

My guess for the defence is Darmian-Bailly-Blind-Young. I highly doubt he'll play Shaw after he played 120 minutes on Thursday.

Defensively he's better imo. Blind at CB can be all over the place sometimes. Also, Blind being a better fullback, I'd say they're on par.
