Spending all those money, and still starting with two really bad wingers / wide forwards.
Amad not ready for the top level yet
That's almost Ten Hags career at United summed up tooPlayed slow and lethargic.
Didn't take our chances.
Gifted them a goal.
That's the first half summed up.
That’s bolloxBecause Rashford has offered nothing.
Doesn't change what I've said.We’ve had 70% possession…
No we don't. We've largely in the first two phases of play been excellent. We are absolutely shocking as soon as it requires a modicum of quality. We move the ball too slowly. Easy predictable attacks.
Amad need to get out.
We are so slow moving the ball from back to front it’s embarrassing. Everyone knows one/two touch passes gets you through yet we constantly take 3/4/5 touches and slow it right down.To me I’m seeing the exact same issues as last season up front and at the back. Nervy defending and just looking casual and clueless when it comes to final ball and creation.

It's completely different to last yearExactly the same shit as last year. When are people going to see that Ten Hag football is not it.
Typical reactionary match day thread. Not a bad first half from United for the most part. We've not been as bad as this thread suggests
And to think last season everyone was crying for Amad to start games, he’s been awful today
Agree. Hes been out his depthAmad not ready for the top level yet
Need to switch both wide players at half time. We’d be winning this if we had Obertan and Tosic. Absolutely woeful stuff from them. Otherwise we’ve played quite well.
Also we have had 53%We’ve had 70% possession…
Aye. Almost as if playing with no striker and physical presence up top might prevent you from scoring goals..To do so otherwise would suggest the manager has set us up wrong or got the selection wrong.
Yup. Brighton have just sat off and we’re passing it around in front of them for no reason. If this is us 'playinh well' then we should be very very worried. Brighton are terrible but we are slow as feck in moving the ball and give rhem all the time in the world to settle back.
Nothing to do with the team. Just Harry Maguire being Harry Maguire. Always able to make a mistake
I don't mean personnel wise guys (although a couple are rubbish) but we as a team. There is no way that Brighton XI should be ahead of us.It is not a terrible team. It is about manager's decisions. Playing cautious without striker, and playing with Maguire who fecked up dozen times in games like this and still gets selected.
Nah, I agree, he’s been fine. The least of our problems. Rashford and Diallo, on the other hand.Am I really the only one that thinks Mount has been good? Such a weirdly polarising player. Taking good care of the ball, progressed it and leads the press.
If any of the other 2 forwards felt like showing up it'd be nice.
No we have played well to be honestWe've not been as bad as this thread suggests
