Wouldn't be too disappointed with a draw considering where we're coming from.

Our performance is being overrated on here. We've improved but we were still wide open on the defensive transition, good and shakey in equally large spells.

Hope we do them, but can't deny that I'm scared.
I'm wary too. I expect Brighton to have more possession because they are built that way. But I think we are more solid defensively than last season and if our attackers put the first chance away we will be comfortable like we should've been vs Fulham. It won't be an easy game but let's hope for the best.

It's a long season. All four of our wingers will get plenty of game time.
Absolutely. Like someone’s mentioned before I’d get them both on together. If Rashford doesn’t start performing drop him and let him know his place isn’t permanent.

38 year old Milner and Gilmour in midfield… surely we can play through that. Mount could be key today.

Come on reds!! Let’s build momentum. Win today and make Liverpool worried to come and play us next week!

some of you need to step away from your computers. the hysteria is ridiculous.
for whats it worth, the fact that brighton have such an intense approach, and we are away, are exactly the reasons you would keep the likes of DeLight on the bench, having only just arrived. 99% of managers would do the same.

Didn't realise our record was that bad against them.

A win here would make it a very nice start to the season.

Pretty bad, but tbf they have only been in the PL during our most abysmal period in the PL.

We've only won once in the last 6 outings against them. Our record at their place is atrocious so coming away with any points in comparison would be good.

Although saying that the relevance of results several seasons ago is a bit limited, it can't be used as an excuse. We have a much better squad than them so we should be getting 3 points.

Actually? No I don't, I'm either too busy working or watching the game to read everything that is typed on a forum, I'm worried I might miss something exciting in United's gameplay.

Isn't there a theory that if you give a monkey a typewriter and enough time it will eventually produce a best seller?
Shakespeare. And the internet has proven this idea false. ;)

Not meaning to moan, but I hate watching the two fasle 9's. I know it's needs must with Hojlund out and Zirkzee getting up to speed, but it just depresses me to see us line up without a striker when we used to have RvP, Rooney, RvN, Chicharito, Saha.. the list goes on and on.

However, Brighton in recent times have killed us through the middle. Maybe it's the right way to go for this game, even if we had a fit CF.

Surprised at Amad starting despite his news yesterday. The rest of the team was expected.

Yorke, Cole, Sheringham, Solskjær, Cantona, Law, Ibrahimović, Tommy Taylor, etc.

Sancho not even on the bench again, hopefully it means we're close to seal some kind of deal.

I expected Maguire to start again, the same happened in Casemiro's first season he was on the bench for some games as Mctominay was performing. It's a good approach make the players fight for their right to start, Maguire had a great game last week so it's only fair he keeps his place for now.

Another mid performance from mount beckons.

Should be winning that midfield battle. They have a 38 year old Milner.

I am so bored of pundits telling us how young Hurzeler is and how so many of the team are older than him!

I love those old school traditional sweatshirt style zip up hoodies. Those are sick

that Brighton team is shyte, sorry. can't believe they're the favourites here.
