Decent team, good to see Maguire back and fit to start. You feel a little for Amad but there are so many games coming up.

We can hurt that Arsenal-defence - but they sure as h... can hurt ours too :)

He's clearly said he's working with one set of players while the other plays and then it will switch around, and that's the best way to ground his style of play into them quickly.

Having said that, I think it's already pretty clear which of these "elevens" is his preferred choice and which isn't.

The line up is fine except Malacia. I am sure he has his reasons but that is the only position that is doubtful imo. Away at Arsenal I understand why Dalot gets the nod ahead of Amad

The lineup is absolutely fine, we don’t have many alternatives.

I’d say a bet on 4+ goals tonight is a good shout.

I didn't expect to see De Ligt and Maguire together or Malacia starting. To be fair though, I remember Malacia had a really good game against Salah at the beginning of Ten Hag's reign. It's more going forward that I'm worried about long term than his defending.

Garnacho, Mount and Hojlund is our ''pressing'' front 3 so that's no surprise.

Hate to say it but I guess I was right when saying Amad probably won’t start. Others were saying he will as he’s been our best player. True but Amorim said he’ll rotate every game

Maguire and De Ligt should be a big help in defending the set pieces which Arsenal always seem to threaten with. The lack of pace could be an issue though.

I think left side is what best we can field right now. Can't blame Amorim. Either way not expecting much from this fixture. Show some fight that's all I can say.

Is he? Do you have evidence to support this fact?

You expected him to play like Roberto Carlos after 18 months out?
Not getting toasted numerous times against third rate European opposition and getting hauled off at half time would be a reasonable bar?

I'm not against Bruno, I know of his fitness record I just if he can start all this games Amad playing the way he has should too.
Amad did go down vs Everton from cramping and played the full 90 while Bruno was subbed at 66 minutes. But also, maybe Amorim never wanted to play Amad up against Martinelli anyway which is fair.

I was not expecting that lineup at all. Not sure how you sit Amad. Hopefully Malacia isn't a horrid as he was against Bodo.

    Oh no, Slab Head...

Malacia worries me too as it looked like he was running in treacle last game

So five subs will be Yoro, Amad, Rashford, Casemiro and Kukonki

Amad was totally knackered on Sunday. Hardly surprising he doesn't start.
