Disappointing way to lose and a shame they get away with so much at corners but got to say the delivery is top notch.

We need a bit more intelligence in there as some of the decisions were woeful. Not wise giving away needless corners to that lot.

Some positives though were the majority look fully invested in Amorim - they were putting their bodies on the line and the effort was there. Can’t see Rashford getting much more chance , i actually felt sorry for him that that is his level of interest just trotting about.

Yoro looked good when he came on and we have a few lads back for the weekend. The No 10 positions are a big issue, nobody can keep hold of the ball.

    Thought Maguire was decent tonight.

Anyway onwards and upwards , anything here was pure bonus. I must say though that Arsenal have regressed , they won’t be seriously challenging this season.

Mental how the modern fan can sit and watch a player stink it up then throw meaningless percentages out. His passing is atrocious full stop.
Except he didn’t stink up. Im just fact checking people saying nonsense, which he didn’t stink up.

Mental how the modern fan can base his opinions on narratives twisted online and unable to form his own opinion to follow the trend

Well, some of our fans certainly can’t comprehend much

Exactly. Let’s not get on the players’ backs for trying when playing one of the best teams under a new coach
I made that comment in jest but it’s clear that some players are not meeting the required standards. This summer we need to part ways with those who aren’t contributing consistently and give Amorim the freedom to rebuild the squad properly.

We've all heard of fairweather fans... Rashford is a fairweather player

No, they didn’t. They didn’t however gift possession to Arsenal every time they touched the ball, including the most brainless corner giveaway you’re likely to see in a while. Then the defensive header. Oh dear

This is a perfect example of how irrational some of you can be.

I honestly don’t know why I bother replying, but here we go, just for you:

    Rashford: 11 passes, 81.8% completion

    Amad: 12 passes, 50% completion

    Zirkzee: 6 passes, 66.7% completion

Now, let's address the corner that led to the goal. Yes, he gave it away. He was defending, tried to flick it up to clear, and it didn’t work out. It’s not ideal, but let’s not pretend this is some catastrophic mistake—unless, of course, the player in question is Rashford. The outrage over this is absurd. That said, our overall set-piece defending was abysmal. As a team, we completely collapsed every time Arsenal took a corner, and that’s the bigger issue here.

The truth is, we didn’t create anything meaningful when Rashford was on the bench, and we didn’t create anything once he came on, either. Personally, I’ve always thought Rashford is better starting games than coming off the bench and trying to grow into them. I was surprised he was rotated after scoring twice, but I could see the reasoning behind it. Unfortunately, the replacements offered absolutely zero goal threat, which ultimately cost us.

I agree on that as well. Mount in particular has done nothing in a United shirt. Then again he did nothing in a Chelsea shirt either. Living off a Champions League final goal.
Yep he set the goal up, he never scored it and we have too many average or constantly injured homegrown players right now. We have to include 8 homegrown players at least in our squad, currently we have nine and none of them resemble a Saka, Rice,
    C Jones, C Palmer, L Colwill, L Hall, T Livremento, J Branthwaite, M Gheui, A Gordon, M Roger’s, O Watkins.

This is why we need to bring back Angel asap and go get Chris Rigg too, we need to upgrade our homegrown players asap and bring down the age of most of the senior pro’s.

    Currently United have the following who count as Homegrown;
Tom Heaton(38) - Great Pro but this might be his last season
H Maguire(32) - Starting to get a lot of jiggly injuries, decent when fit 4th or 5th choice and back up.
L Shaw(29) - Right now he’s a walking injury about to happen, he’s got 2 and half years left on a contract, won’t pass a medical if we sell him and he might play 25 games in those 2 and half years if we are lucky, yes he’s great when he plays but he can’t be relied on anymore.
Toby Collyer(21) - Injured, might be Amorims cup of tea, however he’s got a lot of development still to even be considered a guaranteed squad Player
Johnny Evan’s(37) - Fantastic Servant but you can see by him omission in last two squads, Amorims see this has his last season.
Kobbie Mainoo(19) - A genuine Elite Talent but he’s definitely got stamina issues which he will grow out of as he reaches maturity.
Mason Mount(25) - I just don’t see it, yes he works hard, but has injury issues and it’s clear when your only playing 3 in advanced positions they all need to be elite, he’s not elite!
A Garnaucho(21) - Has elite potential but has awful decision making skills and will never fit a 3421 system, at fault like Rashford today for giving the ball away which resulted in a corner, he will need to change or Move
M Rashford(27) - He simply doesn’t suit this system, he’ll get 15 goals this year and 7 or 8 assists and the club need to use that as a way of getting PSG or Barcelona to pay £50m for him

I’d Give Mason Mount the rest of the season, if he’s not getting 10 goals and 7 or 8 assists as the left or right number 10, we should get rid with Rashford and Garnaucho, we need a huge upgrade?

Mount at least runs, which is more than most of our team do!
He’s not getting 10/15 goals and 7/8 assists this season and for £60m and £250k per week plus the number 7 shirt, he needs to, enfact as much as I can’t stand Sancho behaviour, I guarantee he’ll get more goals and assists for Chelsea this season, he’s a year younger and they paid less than half the price what we paid for Mount, we messed up, Sancho is made for Amorim ball.

I made that comment in jest but it’s clear that some players are not meeting the required standards. This summer we need to part ways with those who aren’t contributing consistently and give Amorim the freedom to rebuild the squad properly.
Hard to disagree. I just want to give the players a chance to adapt before writing anyone off

Last night was always something of a free hit.

Saturday against Forest is arguably more important given how close it is.

The difference between us finishing 4th/5th or 7th/8th will be us consistently beating non top 6/7 teams home and away.
