I'd rather have Maguire at CB than Casemiro. I'm also surprised that if Mount and Bruno are on the pitch at the same time, that Bruno is in CM and Mount is the AM (since I would have them switched around).

People don't seem to pay attention to what the manager says in his press conference. He quite clearly alluded that players like Amad who are putting in so much physical effort won't be playing 3 times a week. So no surprise he's not starting. Same reason why Hojlund didn't start at the weekend.

Yeah, Amorim said he admires his aggression off the ball. Hes very much a front foot defender. If he gets exposed in behind, then hopefully one of the centre backs are there to cover, which should be the case really.

Exactly. We're playing every 3 days and Amad put in a huge shift in one of the most physically demanding positions on Sunday. Emirates would be more of the same on a big pitch. Thought it's likely he wouldn't start but he will have a role to play hopefully second half

It’s Arsenal away , you put your best eleven. Amad is currently one of those. He played 90mins on Sunday which meant Amorim wasn’t planning on starting tonight regardless of his performace .
