    Yeah I wouldn't have minded Lingard, the only issue being chance conversion. He was really good v Palace so bit unlucky to miss out.
     
    It's the best team we possible could have put out with only Fellaini/Carrick being the debatable one in my opinion.

    I think you have to fancy us. It means so much to Jose and the players will no doubt be fired up and looking to bring a bit of happiness to the city.

    We will win.
     
    Fellaini as usual makes me uncomfortable, but it's all about the win now
     
    There are goals in each of the front 3...Felli will have his job to do, and Pogba a bit of freedom. I like it, even though I trust Jones these days moreso than Mike.
     
    Happy with that side. As good I could imagine with our squad. Great having Mata back.

    I see the sense in your point. I prefer Jones too but I think I can understand this. Jose most likely has Dolberg in mind here. One of the young lad's deadliest weapons is his ability to run in behind defenders. His off the ball movement is superb. If you ask me what Jones' most obvious weakness is as a defender, I would say it's his positioning. He gets caught out of position many times by attackers. Smalling is slightly better in this regard. His own weakness is being poor with the ball at his feet and a tendency to simply kick the ball out rather than retain it.

    Smalling might just be better at stopping Dolberg and if United plans to win this match two Ajax players have to be stopped: Dolberg and Ziyech.
     
    Smalling starting over jones is extremely worrying. He's got at least one big error in him every game. Don't understand that whatsoever.
     
    Sky doesn't have any new episodes of Desus & Mero :(

    Need something to watch before the match. Hate all the pre match fluff on tv.

    Smalling starting makes me nervous, although fortunately he's got someone more intelligent at his side to direct him.
