Magic! For all of Manchester, really, really proud to be a Manchester United supporter, a club I have grown up with and love, at times infuriating but always exhilarating.

Can someone post the pic of Rashford and Zlatan posing together with the trophy

Fellaini, pogba, Valencia all ace tonight. So many others too.

Oh who gives a shit, United are back baby, so fecking happy!!!

Whoa....just seen the average ratings. All I can say is that for most on the caf the only criteria for good or poor play is the result. You would have thought from the average scores that we had played out of this world when at best we were average and managed an expected win.

Not a bad end to the season. 3 cups counting the CS, automatic qualification to the group stages of the CL and the super cup to come. The mighty Pool still has to play the qualifying stages and with luck not make the group stages.

I think it's amazing Fellaini is voted man of the match on the caf. Every long pass was aimed at him and I think he couldn't control only 2 out of all. Everything else was kept in possession. He had a great game. I wish Lingard scored a 3rd goal, but the occasion might have gone to him sooner than necessary.
Solid performance. Time to bring some quality next summer to build on that - with that defense, put a speedy winger, a real flair player, get Rashford his shooting boots and every team should be ready to be dismantled.:devil::devil:

I was worried going in to this match but from the second minute i was completely relaxed.

I am so proud of the lads for going in and getting the job done so easily after all the sh*t back home.

They have done Manchester united/ Manchester as a whole proud tonight.
Hopefully they have put a smile on some pretty sad faces tonight.

I know it is completely unrelated but Manchester needed this tonight.

Fellaini was my motm.He may be a long way from the most stylish player I've ever seen in a United shirt but he is effective and he gives it 100% every time.

I was at the stadium, and I really think if there were any doubters about Mourinho they should at least concede that Jose knows what he is doing. The MUFC fans were either outnumbered or they were out-sang by the Ajax support which seemed better organized. Maybe our fans were much more anxious because we had so much riding in this game. But under all that pressure, and with our fans not providing as much support for whatever reason, the team came out 100% mentally prepared from minute number one. We controlled tge whole match, regardless of possession stats.

We dug deep. We looked to counter so often over played it. It was probably as comfortable as we could have hoped.

Congrats on the win, deserved winners - thought Fellaini was very instrumental, perhaps the perfect protagonist against a young & inexperienced Ajax

Have you been in jail for the last four days and just watched the recording ?

Unfortunately you're lucky enough to hail from Planet Earth - as shown to me by your bio. I'm sadly in the badlands of Europa, the 6th closest moon to Jupiter and signal here is sketchy. Just catching up now.

(Also, I wanted to round the thread off nicely)

Just reflecting on the game, comfortable may well be the key word.
The most comfortable win we've ever had in a European final; (I know '68 finished with a comfortable scoreline, but it went to extra time).

Yes, it may not have been won with scintillating football, but we never looked in any danger from Ajax. A job well done.
