    Argh! Excitement!! Our most important (or most riding on it anyway) match post Fergie.
    Ajax are going to be no pushovers here and we've been pretty poor for the last few months apart from the first half of the last game and our team is sure to be very different. Without pogba I wouldn't be so confident put it that way. Hopefully we get the result and play some nice stuff. Cmon united!!!

    I didn't expect to, but I'm really looking forward to tonight! I'm excited! Not for the Champions League qualification - tonight I couldn't give less of a shit - but because we're in a European final! Manchester United vs Ajax! Sounds like something I would've watched 20 years ago!

    I thought he was pretty assertive when he wondered if Ajax would be able to play the way they like. I think he's confident.

    No, it couldn't.

    A loss would throw United steps back in a not so bold project so far. We lose money, CL football and appeal to bring huge names. We are 6th in the league, and our main objective would be down the drain.

    There's nothing to be uplifting about a loss today. Total disaster.

    Yeah, in terms of building up normally Carrick would be better. I really don't know how we would fare vs Ajax press if we tried to play like that, it'd either be great or a complete disaster I suspect.

    Fellaini just had a really poor Derby, I was very disappointed with him that game. Have to hope he shows more of his EL form (where I think he's been fairly good) rather than the league.

    I haven't watched Ajax except 1st leg v Lyon so it's really hard to judge things like how good their press really is, and how much physicality their defense can handle, and so forth. I'm hoping Mou's done his homework though!
     
    Ibrahimović in black could mean a lot of things: he's in mourning, he's neutral (also played for Ajax), or he's… Zlatan.
     
    Worried about feckups from Smalling and Blind, and worried about general shittiness and bookings for Fellaini.

    For all I know he was pretty proud to Manage a club like united and it was evident with the classy message he left at the end.

    Surely he'd like the best team to win.
