It's one of those sounds worse than it actually is though. He's had 4 games to work with Mainoo and Wharton - they weren't real options in November. It's mismanagement that he's trying TAA in there 2 games in a row after the first was already an unmitigated disaster. That he still doesn't have a complete picture of his team 2 games into the Euros, but there are mitigating circumstances and still time to fix things. Just look at the difference in delivery in the anthems. Italian players are passionate and going to war. Spanish players looking timid, scared and refusing to sing.

Today's Rice performance was one of the worst I've seen from him, and I've seen alot of him obviously.
