I already do. He and his agent are a pair of idiots for letting Barcelona treat him that way.

I just hope Ten Hag does not become an idiot for letting the club be embroiled and then embarrassed by this arduous pursuit.
Interesting, because I don’t think the club has ever mentioned Frenkie de Jong once.

So much respect for someone willing to give up millions to continue playing for the club he loves.

Even if that means being moved to CB and played as a backup. Massive respect.

Does that mean if he stays, Kounde and Silva are dead deals?

I guess that's almost the end of things
Just fecking do it. He obviously loves it at Barca but I’ve got to question the backbone of the man. Centre half ffs!
It’s at a point where I would say no to the transfer if he did accept. I really have to question his character

I think the deals dead at this point, he can't really take more than a 50% Pay cut at Barca though afaik

Frenkie De Jong is now contemplating bankruptcy due to buying a 5 million euro home in Spain, 4 French mistresses, 3 dobermans, 2 lottery tickets, and 10 Hags

Not well versed on Spanish taxes but isn't the reported reduction on net income?

it was tongue in cheek.

however, if he wants to stay that much, he can make it work on that salary, it’s still a lot of money. Just down to what he wants at this point.
Yeah and I'd absolutely respect him for valuing his current life over more money (or less less money). Just wish he told ETH if that was the case

Frenkie has also offered his fiancée to Laporta on their first wedding night. A little bit of jus primae noctis action for Laporta.

You’d hear it pretty quickly after one of these friendlies, he’d as soon as possible be telling the World he’s willing to sacrifice and work with the club to stay.
It’ll be radio silence again though tonight, and tomorrow it’ll be “meeting in coming hours”, “United most likely”, “shit here come Chelsea”, “he must take a pay cut”, “he hates United”, “he’s ready for a paycut”. All over again.

Then rinse and repeat on Thursday.

To be fair, the only ones claiming he's happy to take a pay cut aren't the most reliable of sources.
If a reliable source like Romero comes out and says it, then it's the end game

Well if he does then will be serious eggs on our faces, particularly Erik who will take the brunt of it
I mean if he stays, it's not a huge deal. We went for a player, it didn't pan out. Most deals don't. Ten Hag will be judged on his coaching at the end of the day and I'd say it's virtually guaranteed to be a massive improvement anyway.

That club doesn’t love him back though.
Plus that’s a ton of money, Frankie de **** more like.

It's all a bit silly, this saga, isn't it?
“A bit?”
Its been a waste of digital space.
Everyone who posted in this thread or followed the saga closely, is dumber as a result.

Should Utd have ever got involved if we thought there was even the slimmest possibility he would be willing to take a salary cut to stay
