Sure, I know that, but I'm confused as to why Musk of all people is tweeting it. And also why he needs to tell us it's the domino effect, on a picture of some big dominoes.
The "Domino effect" is an internet/twitter meme ... Musk posts internet memes constantly.

Because his fanboys do not all possess intelligence, creativity, vision and so on.

How are they going to impeach trump when hes leaving office very soon.
They could impeach him before he leaves office, then convict him after. It wouldn't have a huge effect on this term, but if the conviction was successful, it would prevent him from running again in 4 years time.

My brain can't get pregnant!

What a shock. fecking coward..

Or is it because he's guilty too? He's on record for trying to get the Georgia Reps to change the votes. He's as complicit as Trump. Spineless little gremlin.

To be fair to him I don’t want him saying anything else. The thought of him fecking young boys is abhorrent enough, we don’t want to see the videos.

I am a little worried about the end game here. Trump dishing out pardons left and right, and then as the great finale - Pence pardons Trump!

Is this a possibility?

Not one of his fanbois at all, but I still find Musk taking a dump on Zuckerberg interesting, and he's certainly not not totally wrong about it

There’s quite a few steps until Pence could be able to actually pardon him.

But, it’s still a possibility however.

After he fed them to the wolves last night? These crowds were chanting "Hang Mike Pence" after all

True, but I don't know the nature of "intimate" power relations between the two. We may still see a couple of swells until it ebbs out. I just fear for the possibility of Trump being pardoned after all this.

I haven't seen any language saying actings can participate.

So all it would take is 8 of the below 15 plus Pence. The highlighted ones would be the most likely candidates.

  • Secretary of State Mike Pompeo
  • Secretary of the Treasury Steve Mnuchin
  • Acting Secretary of Defense Chris Miller
  • Acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen
  • Secretary of the Interior David Bernhardt
  • Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue
  • Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross
  • Secretary of Labor Eugene Scalia
  • Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar
  • Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson
  • Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao
  • Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos
  • Secretary of Energy Dan Brouilette
  • Secretary of Veterans’ Affairs Robert Wilkie
  • Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf

The only problem is Trump could drag the whole thing out since after 8 plus Pence were to vote to get rid, Congress would ave to vote, then Trump would get a rebuttal, then Congress would have to vote again after considering his response. All of that could take weeks.
I’m only landing in the thread and may be repeating, but... isn’t the idea to run down the clock? Once there’s a quorum in the cabinet, Trumo can assert his objection, but in the meantime, Pence stands in. So in effect starting the process would disempower him till his term runs out. Am I wrong?

I don’t get the idea of self pardon, first of all there has to be a federal crime and conviction to pardon. How is anyone trying to try Trump in court make it easier by arraigning him now?

Not now. Pence’s statements and actions show that he’s outside the Trump tent, seen as an enemy by the crazies. Pence has bet on the revival of a more staid and conventional post Trump GOP.

There does not have to be a conviction. As long as the criminal act is ‘known to the law’, it can be pardoned. Proceedings does not need to have started.

It seems to be an outgrowth from when Ford preemptively pardoned Nixon after Nixon departed.

It’s preemptive pardon 2.0.

But Trump would have to state exactly what crimes he’s pardoning himself for? Or can he just do a blanket pardon for any and all crimes?
