Yeah Herrera is the absolute worst, whiney little cheating cnut.

I'd love him if he played for us, though. You need those players in your side, sometimes we miss guys with his attitude.
Motm for us today. Never shy's away from these type of games. He's great.

Glad he got a hit in? It was a cynical foul but are you seriously happy someone got a hit in? Knobs be knobs
In the moment I was. Argh he just annoys me. Especially afterwards when he has his arms up like "what did i do?"

Looking back now. Yeah obviously that was a stupid thing to do from Firmino

I'm surprised how many people were expecting United to trash Liverpool. Under Klopp they have an immense record against big teams.
This. The impression get is that fans expect us to dominate and beat them three nil. Wont happen. Liverpool are a good team. It was always going to be a tight match.

Liverpool were awful and would have been dispatched by any half-decent side. We failed to come even remotely close to 'half-decent'. Nobody really comes out of that with any credit.

Whoever won the game
Strange patterns in this game, as soon as Valencia launched himself forward things started looking up. Until the hour mark, very little attacking system, particularly baffled by Darmian selection. With AA opposite he should have received more attacking instructions, yet Martial left on his own could not cope.

Another problem is with Mkhitaryan who clearly looks more at ease in central areas. Both wingers (Martial and him) looked better down the centre.

In hindsight a point's probably decent, but it was so out of sync with what we've seen in the build-up with fluid, attacking, cohesion. That was like watching England at times.

Seconds after showing we hit 20% of our passes long and Liverpool hit 19% of theirs, Souness says all we did was hit it long and he feels aggrieved as a Liverpool fan. Okay pal.

Pathetic performance from us. We completely bottled it, and still should have won. If we had played anywhere near our potential, we would be running away with it before the end of the first half. How can Mourinho so obviously fail to prepare the team when it's so obvious we're going to be playing against a team that will press hard and crowd out the center of the pitch?

It's exactly the same thing that happened against City at home, and that time at least we had somewhat of an answer to it in the second half. Today, apart from the first five minutes of the second half, we had no answer until we started punting it long. It's embarrassing to watch, especially against a team as obviously limited as Liverpool are.

And how the hell does Rooney get on the pitch? He breaks down almost every attack he's involved in.

Most of them left their brains in the changing room, particularly Pogba.

Positive note, we didnt lose and still on an unbeaten run. Last 3 season we wouldve lost.
LvG had an unbelievable record against Liverpool and the big sides so I highly doubt that.

So, in the post match show, the pundits are:
Liverpool (Souness)
Liverpool (Carragher)
Arsenal (Henry)

Why are there no MUFC pundits in the studio?

Pogbad. Valencia is a machine. #RojoHoofs. Herrera good. Fellaini. ZLATAN. Missed opportunities to win it.

Rooney offered nothing much when he came on. He needs restricting to sub appearances when we are 2 or 3 nil up. Thought we edged it 60/40 but would take 1-1 as a fair result.

Bad game really. Liverpool pressed well while most of our players lost their composure. Valencia and Herrera by a distance our 2 best players. Pogba was pretty shite throughout. Defence was alright. Ibra and martial were decent. Mata quiet when he came on. Fellaini with a good impact. Miki probably better once he moved to left back funnily enough. Rooney decent.

Overall, the draw is good the way the game panned out with us coming back to salvage it. We had the better chances throughout and their goal came because pogba was having an idiotic moment, but we lacked composure so a draw is better then nothing. Just need to get another winning run going.

We should have won that, had the chances to do so but I'll gladly take the point.

Pogba had his poorest game so far for us today, he was a liability out there. Rooney wasn't up to much when he came on his passing was terrible and had some poor decision making. Rojo my motm, Herrera was good also. Ibra quiet but still got his goal.

Result keeps us in touch but really could have done with the win to fully capitalize on Citys feck up.

Really poor performance from us.Liverpool were there for the taking but we didn't perform.Even after we equalised Liverpool had the better chances.
We lack composure and our crossing and finishing are not good enough.
We will do well to finish 4th.

We were poor but it puts a huge dent in the bin dippers title chances and we will only get better.

A Van Gaal or Moyes Utd loses that game 3-0 today after Pogba's brainfart.

Happy. We are still on a good unbeaten run - Stoke next.
Agreed. Liverpool played better than expected, at least better than their mid week performance. We weren't clicking as usual in the final third. But yeah - unbeaten in 16 - I'll take that. Onwards towards 4 completely winnable league fixtures leading up to the City game (which is obviously also winnable).

Found it alarming how Mourinho dumped tactics and went to hoof-ball like that.

Pogba has form for losing his head like that. Hopefully it's the worst he'll ever be in our shirt.

Herrera continued to perform no matter what system, which was impressive.

Was extremely disappointing to see our team, apart from Herrera, play so badly. Nobody stepped up and controlled or calmed the game and nobody could be seen as a dependable or reliable head.

Grateful for the point, given the circumstances.

He annoys me like hell. I wouldn't want him in our team. There's the nitty gritty players like Mascherano. Then there's Herrera.

Anyway. Point is more than welcome. Bigger gap between us and City now. Level with Spurs. Just gotta sort our form out quick. Need our injured players back. Is henderson injured again?
You honestly think Herrera is worse than Mascherano?

What Herrera did was a dick move, but it was also very intelligent play considering the break you had.

Was absolutely terrific. Cant remember a better one in recent times.

End to end stuff in the last 10-15 minutes.

Mourinho has officially dispelled all notions that he is a defensive manager. It was a page straight out of SAF's book. Except we should have thrown on Rashford instead of Fellaini.
it was felliani's introduction that changed the game dynamics. Suddenly we were contesting for second balls and rushing them up a bit. Mata needed a bit more time to impose himself and martial should have stated. But omg rooney. He can't do shet

I hope every single one of you who came into the pre-match threads giving it the billy big bollocks saying we'll smash them 3-0 has a long, hard look at yourselves and realises how much of a twat you are.

I thought we played better than them. Would have looked much better have we put away any early. Klopp criticized Plymouth mentioning that " entire population of plymouth was on the penalty box". What is the population of Liverpool?

I'll take a point gladly to be honest, not a disaster by any stretch now we can carry on without having lost the confidence of our unbeaten run.

Pogba was awful, Ibra and De Gea are absolute key players for us as they both showed once again. Herrera did very well and Valencia is now a dominant force down the right.

From start to finish, Pogba was shit. We were lucky to get a point. Our defense had to cover Pogba's immaturity again and again. He may be thinking that he is already the best of the world or something... I am still angry with him. For such an important game, he was totally unprepared. It wasn't just the penalty, his whole game was shit today.

Definitely one of the worst home performances under Mourinho, on par with that shambolic first half against city. Fecking hell how we did not score more against that defense is beyond me. For a moment I thought we were playing away, because of how our footballers were scared. Pogba had a mare, I saw Martial only when he was substituted for Mata, Carrick's disposal was reminiscent of his last season performance, where he would just stay on the ball so long that he would be eventually dispossessed. Generally an awful performance, and when you add Rooney to that it makes it even worse. We need to massively improve our performances against the top teams, beause at the moment it is not looking so good (loss against chelsea, city, 2 draws against liverpool, draw against arsenal, and only one win against tottenham)

We were pretty terrible.. Always nice with late equalizer but we still missed three really good chances so don't know what to think.
No flow to the game at all with all the freekicks and probably the most number of throw ins in a match ever.

Were we really that shit? They pressed which put us off quite a bit. But we defended well. Both teams were sloppy in this high pressure match, but we fought really hard and looked incredibly tired at the end.

Against the second highest scorers in the league, I thought we played well. 1 point, 16 games unbeaten.
This.
