Not watched many Hitchcock film

Strangers on a train, Vertigo and Rear Window , will be watched this week.
Watch both of these last night, both quality films and will be watching the other and re-watching Dial M for Murder.
I have some editing of my top 100 to do.
Rear Windows is a top quality film, James Stewart and Grace Kelly work so well together.

Been very harsh on more recent films for some reason but I'm sure they can handle it.

EDITED - Added in Secrets and Lies and Stand By Me. The Hidden Fortress and Paris, Texas drop out.

Likewise. It badly needs some editing (or should I say even more editing as he shot hours and hours of film). It's like listening to some big rock group of the 70s doing 15 minute drum solos.
Yeah. I really enjoyed the film but ended up deeply frustrated at the way it was spun out, at times, needlessly.

What's the plan here, list 30, list 100? I'm half tempted to start allowing more modern films into my list, depending how big I guess. Test of time means a lot to me in these things, but I might be able to squeeze one post 2010 onwards film in.....and it'll probably be Moneyball, feck I'm stunned how much that film has grown on me and I loved it in 2011.

Meh, why bother? Top 20 is sure to be a combination of the usual suspects(not the movie) and Nolan(ugh), with little to no animation or movies in a different language than English. Yawn.

It's a weird criticism anyway, loads of people have put in plenty of foreign films and animations.
