Bayern fans are a sensitive lot here. No criticisms of Bayern allowed.Yeah because Pep has history of staying at club for many years isn't it.

He is 18, can't see him staying there until the end of his career. Isn't he a Mendez player also? So he will move, it's just a matter of time. Would be the same if he had joined us. Can see Pogba coming to us and spending 3 years here and than going to Madrid also. Madrid and Barca are the top destination for every player unfortunately. So every other team is a stepping stone...Actually Bayern is very good holding their international players...
It is the Germans that sometimes leave...
So your post is wide off the mark. Who cares about Jose, my post was about Pep.Just as Mourinho, with the difference of Mourinho being fired, while Guardiola quits on his own behalf
Martinez extended his contract till 2021, Thiago extended his till 2019. Doesn't seem to be that bad over here. Still, you are owing me a sound explanation why Utd and only Utd will be his next career move, if he should leave at some time.I'm sure he will enjoy the experience of playing for a bigger club for now, but will eventually sour on the German experience. I doubt he'd want his career to go the way of Javi Martinez or Thiago, who have more or less vanished off the face of the earth since moving to Germany.
Yeah that is very obvious. We have excellent Bayern posters here and then we have few who post nothing but negatively about ManUtd, sort of like WUM mission.Bayern fans are a sensitive lot here. No criticisms of Bayern allowed.![]()
How sad. Let's hope they have a more meaningful experience there going ahead.Martinez extended his contract till 2021, Thiago extended his till 2019. Doesn't seem to be that bad over here. You are trolling, right? We haven't lost any player to the Prem since Hargreaves. And even that's debatable since there are ongoing rumours we just cashed in on a known crock. That's the trend it seems - more towards glamorous leagues that pay better and away from one horse leagues
Raoul cares about Jose, implying he'd stay long enough to get Sanches over to Utd. On that basis, one claim that about Pep, too. That is the point of my post.So your post is wide off the mark. Who cares about Jose, my post was about Pep.
That was ancient history. The trend is clearly towards England or Spain now.You are trolling, right? We haven't lost any player to the Prem since Hargreaves. And even that's debatable since there are ongoing rumours we just cashed in on a known crock.
We are in tier 1 in regards to wages and players don't seem to be concerned about the league as long as there is Champions League and a shot at winning it.
Raoul said "at some point" not immediate next move.Martinez extended his contract till 2021, Thiago extended his till 2019. Doesn't seem to be that bad over here. Still, you are owing me a sound explanation why Utd and only Utd will be his next career move, if he should leave at some time.
Cut your evasion tactics. Why Utd and no other club? How sad. Let's hope they have a more meaningful experience there going ahead.
Makes perfect sense - World's best manager over the past 15 years, Portuguese, world's biggest club (or thereabouts). Any young and learning Portuguese player worth his salt would want to play for Mourinho.Raoul cares about Jose, implying he'd stay long enough to get Sanches over to Utd. On that basis, one claim that about Pep, too. That is the point of my post.
Cut your evasion tactics. Why Utd and no other club?
Well, that sounds different than
I'm sure other English clubs would be interested as well.
More like he's famous for winning trophies wherever he goes. Sanches will be a United player at some point in the future if he winds up being any good.
I didn't say United wouldn't persevere above other English clubs, just that there would be multiple clubs interested. Is it clear ?Well, that sounds different than
Did you?I didn't say United wouldn't persevere above other English clubs, just that there would be multiple clubs interested. Is it clear ?
Sanches will be a United player at some point in the future if he winds up being any good.
Clearly you're not understanding this.Did you?
What I understand is, that you've leaned yourself a bit too far out of the window, and now you're trying to backpedal without admitting the obvious. You didn't say he *might* be a Utd player, you've said he *will* be. That is as clear as it gets.Clearly you're not understanding this.
Clearly our discussion is getting lost in translation - as in your English isn't good enough to understand what I'm saying. Now let's jog on shall we.What I understand is, that you've leaned yourself a bit too far out of the window, and now you're trying to backpedal without admitting the obvious. It's fine though.
I'm sure my english is serviceable enough to get the distinction between might and will. But yeah, let's jog on.Clearly our discussion is getting lost in translation - as in your English isn't good enough to understand what I'm saying. Now let's jog on shall we.
No, you didn't get it. I'll have to get my banter fix in elsewhere. But please continue to enjoy posting here at Red Cafe.I'm sure my english is serviceable enough to get the distinction between might and will. But yeah, let's jog on.
But you are not understanding what he wrote. He said other English clubs will be interested but United will trump their offers, thus he will be a United player in the future.I'm sure my english is serviceable enough to get the distinction between might and will. But yeah, let's jog on.
I don't deserve shame. That's too harsh.I refuse to put Deisler on the same level as Sosa and Breno. Shame!![]()
Bayern like PSG don't really sell their best players as they don't need the money.Actually Bayern is very good holding their international players...

Sporting Lisbon president Bruno de Carvalho has even gone as far as calling on the hospital that he was born to confirm his birthday once and for all.
Portuguese newspaper Jornal de Noticias conducted an investigation claiming that their was documentation confirming the player's birth date of August 18th 1997, but that the birth wasn't registered until August 22nd 2002 - a full five years later.
The report says that Sanches' father left his mother when the boy was five months old, emigrating to France - returning five years later to register the birth of his son.
Bizarre if true..
Not quite as big as the 4th place trophy, I agree. Maybe you'll win that one next season again.Winning the Bundesliga is not really winning a trophy though, is it?
Salty, I like it.Not quite as big as the 4th place trophy, I agree. Maybe you'll win that one next season again.
What would it change anyway? Not the slightest bit worried in his case.
He's special due to his physicality and maturity on the field and having all this at 18. It implies a large scope for improvement that he can reach elite level and this ties into his transfer fee. What would it change anyway?
Have you ever seen that picture of Lukaku when he was playing in the U12s though? He could have easily been 18 based on physical development.
So far the fee paid should be around £ 30 mil. It'll certainly go up a bit but the fee will never be anywhere near of what United will have to cough up to get Pogba. For that to happen Sanches would need to be voted among the top 3 in the ballon d'or, something Pogba has yet to achieve and is almost impossible to accomplish for any defensive midfielder these days. And I won't even start debating the difference in wages. And Bayern have paid pogba-esque money to purchase Renato whilst we buy pogba .![]()
True enough. He's special due to his physicality and maturity on the field and having all this at 18. It implies a large scope for improvement that he can reach elite level and this ties into his transfer fee.
He isn't so special anymore if he's 24.
Look at Lingard last season. If he were 17/18 we would be creaming ourselves over him ala Rashford.
Dunno, but 'accused of being 24' somehow makes me laugh. It's just a funny sounding thing to say.Guy Roux questioning his age now
