I bet Barcelona fans must be reacting to this news the same way we reacted to Arsenal's bid for Rooney.

Not really most of them hate Fabregas.

Why didn't we put the bid in before Thiago left? That seems sensible as it gives Barca the chance to negotiate a deal with Thiago knowing that Fabregas may be off. It's terrible transfer tactics if this is genuine.

Has Thiago officially left Barca?

Well there has to be a question mark as to how often he'll get to play next season, especially in the big games.

..hopefully.

Sky sources aka Indykaila aka bullshit.

Having said that, Guillem Bawbag did say on Twitter last night that Moyes had doubts about Thiago's ability to handle English football.....and if he was after a goalscoring midfielder used to English football then Fabregas might be the better option.

Who knows.

After what Thiago did to us, I'm not sure if I'll ever wank again.

It would be lovely though. Come on Cesc, you know it makes sense, come to Utd, the champions and lead us into our new era. Watch the videos and see how greats like Keane, Scholes, Cantona, Robson etc etc etc shone at this great club and were adored. Look at the hole their departure has left and, be all that you can be, step forward and fill our hole........ ok, I'm getting there, ah feck!

That's got nothing to do with it. It's similar in the way that it's a bid none of the fans would actually expect to materialise. Just like the Arsenal - Rooney bid....

Don't do this to yourself mate. Barca won't sell him now. It doesn't make sense to lose two Xaci replacements in a single summer.

They are weak after losing Thiago. The vultures are circling and now is the time to strike. It's a Catalan buffet! Iniesta to PSG next up.

If this is the target Moyes talked about it is safe to say we are screwed. Barca will not sell and Cesc would not leave. If he was available you can also bet your life Arsneal, City, PSG and Chelsea would join with the chase too!

Can we please stop wasting our time on trying to get unattainable players.

No chance at all of this happening, especially now that Thiago has left Barca. Seems like a bit of a waste of time and we'd have more of a chance in getting Vidal or Marchisio in my opinion.

It's never going to happen ......barca will badly need cover for xavi and iniesta especially considering xavi looked destroyed and burnt out against brazil in the confeds cup.....barca need fabregas...fabregas has no intention of leaving....rosell and fabregas will come out tomorrow saying theres not a hint of truth in it despite what the tabloids are saying today to sell newspapers

Moyes must be so used to rejection from his time at Everton he's basically decided to go around placing FM style bids for "unrealistic targets".
