I was judging him on his career. Not over the last few months, i dont just pick stats to suit.
Go ahead and pick your stats that show a career

Rooney's overhead was better.
It looks like a few people are bitter over it
Off... the... shin... fluke.Rooney's overhead was better.
Looks like Mockney just discovered he's a good player. A bit like he did with Pirlo a few months ago.
Rooney meant it but his execution was shit and he got lucky (see RvP v Charlton too).Nah Rooney meant it. I get the impression Zlatan got a bit lucky with his. Still a spectacular effort though.
It really needs to be in a proper game to be considered a truely great goal.

Possibly true but any shot that comes off the shin is a fluke since you don't really know where it's going to go.Meh I don't think it was physically possible for Van Persie to jump any higher for his Charlton goal, so it had to come off his shin because he couldn't get his foot high enough IIRC.

The context was vital... the goal was a fluke. Rooney intended to hit it off his instep, he missed but the ball went in anyway. And?
The circumstances and the technique behind it were both better than Ibra's goal.

How on earth is the technique better than Ibras? Some people are so incredibly biased these days it's ridiculous I've never understood why English people have always hated ibra and continued to underrate him when the rest of the world to see he has been one of the best strikers out there for the past 6ish years.

The bizarro world of people who've never played football, tried something outrageous and seen it come off.Seriously wtf are you lot on, he meant it, he nailed it. In what bizarre world is that "getting lucky".
Arsene invited him for a trial but he said: 'If you don't know how good I am you can piss off'.Very excited about him when he was at Ajax, had friends who played against him when he was at Malmö FF, and they told me he’d become a world class player without a doubt.
