Moments like that make all the bullshit in football worthwhile.

honestly that goal took my breath away, from a technical view point he's arguably the best striker in the world, just sad his attitude doesnt always match his ability

feck me, that last goal was amazing. One of the best goals ever IMO.

Better than RVP and Falcao? Not suggesting you are wrong but I think I'd struggle to decide between them

At his best he maybe has more ability to create - watched the four goals he set up the other night for PSG in the CL. He was different class.

Distance watch...

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scores four - including a sensational 35-yard scissor kick - as England lose in Stockholm.

The Guardian said:
a preposterous overheaded kick to lob the ball into the net from 30 yards!

Overhead kick into the open goal from 25 yards! What. A. Goal. Ibrahimovic 4, England 2!

I'm going to go with 31.5 yards...

I think it was Brwned who said that Ibra is one of those players you watch because you know he'll pull something extraordinary out - one of those players who make football a little more enjoyable to watch. Of course, you don't have to be Brwned to realise this; it has been the story of his footballing career really.

I actually stood up in my living room and applauded... which thinking back, is a really fecking weird thing to do.

Still... Zlatan made me do it.

I'm sure that made sense in your head

Just to put it in black and white so you know how much you've embarrassing yourself, Zlatan has created 1.8 chances per game this season in France. By the way thats the 2nd most at his club.

In a much tougher league Van Persie has set up 2.1 chances per game, 17th most of any player in the league but most at Manchester United. Zlatan would be joint 25th.

If there is a striker who's creative play is underrated its Van Persie. Not Zlatan. You are doing what you accuse others of.

Of course Zlatan has vision, skill and can create but much like other aspects of his football career, the consistancy isnt always there. It certainly isnt this season though his goalscoring is.

Freakishly good a marmite player if anything. Some love him some hate him but he is so useful no-one can deny it. What a talent.

Same here, I turned the TV about 20 seconds before the goal, and after that I'm standing in front of TV and applauding.

I was judging him on his career. Not over the last few months, i dont just pick stats to suit.

It's the best Overhead kick from 25/30 yards into a half empty net that I've ever seen...

I'm not really sure how to rate it. Everything about it is truly stunning/outrageous/incredible/amazing/insert relevent adjective in here... to generate the power, height and accuracy with that sort of kick, with the ball as high in the air as it was, is something else...

But ultimately, there was no keeper in net, and it all came about thanks to a tremendous feck up by Joe Hart. Thus, I choose not to rate it in any sort of order... but instead, will just marvel at how outrageous it is.

Yeah I'm also a bit confused how to rate it also. At the end of the day you could say it was an open goal ;)

But the execution, timing, placement, everything about it was just perfection. I mean the ball didn't even bounce from the keepers header. He has actually jumped up to get to it.

Not sure I want to label it as the best goal ever but it's certainly up there. I'm struggling to think of few better that's for sure.

It's just a very unique goal... I don't think there has been anything at this level like it. It required a a shit bit of goalkeeping for a set up... and then required a man of Ibra's ability/agility/audacity to pull it off, and frankly, there arn't too many of those around.

You have to put goals in context too. The game was over so he tried an outrageous effort - wonderful to look at but not important.
