May well be the case, given that we'll be on the ball more and Dendoncker being the more defensive midfielder in comparison.

really ? because he said only a week ago that he'd only join a mega club if he's starting every match and that he'd be happy to go to smaller club if he's guaranteed lots of starts.
Looks like Youri is really starting to dial it up even more after being a key part of his first start against Russia with a goal and assist on Friday.

Either the Belgium league isn't considered too great or this guy is highly under-rated. I'm looking forward to watching him play against us. Mourinho should fix a deal during one of the legs if he puts in a good performance. We started the season with a zillion midfielders and now we're scraping to put together a decent midfield. We can't rely on Pogba playing over 45 odd games without missing any. Youri is a more than capable midfielder to get between 25-30 games. We should definitely try and get him before it starts becoming an auction with other teams involved.

Before Dortmund or Monaco sign Youri up, we have to take a gamble on him. Kid's got the gift.
As good as he is, I just don't see this management going for him which is a big shame. Super talent. A trio of Pereira, Pogba and Youri is a dream.
Hopefully shines enough against us for Jose to be interested.

I don't watch the Belgian league but isn't Tielemans a very similar player to Pogba? I don't think we need another midfielder like that.

Yes they are similar but we need two capable players in each position. And the amount of games we play, we can rotate accordingly. Pogba and Tielmanns can play together against the weaker teams. This guy will only get better with age. We've lacked creativity in major part of the season and I feel Tielmanns can provide that when needed.
World team of the year, 4 Scudettos, CL Final start, Euro Final Start. Not really a youngster. Mourinho did trust a young Varane though.
Monaco are clever. Will sell him on in a few years for triple that if he fullfills his potential. There are some clubs out there who can convince talents to join them due to their nature and platform/league, like Dortmund and Monaco.
They probably have plans to cash in on Bakayoko this summer if an offer comes through for over €30m
Monaco would be a natural progression from Belgian football.

Smart move for all parties involved, really. Though he doesn't really fit like-for-like in Monaco's current system with the two physical powerhouse CMs they have.
The chance to live in Monaco is probably hugely appealing too, and as a Belgian, he'd already speak the language.

Monaco would obviously be a better club for him to develop than United but he is going to cost a bomb in 2-3 years. Incredible talent.

I really hope Mourinho takes notice of Tielmans. He's a terrific player and has a lot of potential to be even better.

Mourinho is aware of Tielemans. He's scouted him over the last 2+ years.
Monaco is the best fit for Tielemans for the next 2-3 years to get experience in a tougher league. Assuming he continues to develop he'll go for an outrageous sum when he leaves. He has the potential to be the best CM in world.
